A final decision on Darvish (elbow) is not expected Wednesday, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Werth Star-Telegram reports. Contrary to prior reports, the Rangers will likely hold off on making an announcement regarding the plan for Darvish. His preliminary MRI revealed a sprained UCL in his right elbow, an injury which typically required Tommy John surgery, and he went to New York on Monday for a second opinion. Perhaps the team will seek a third opinion before ruling out rest and rehabilitation.
