Wow, I set back the English language about 55 years with that last sentence. Trout to Start Year in Minors I've been saying it for months now, but I don't think many people have been listening. No, I don't mean that I've been telling people that I'm good looking, I've been saying that for a good two decades, I'm talking about my prediction for playing time with the Angels. All along I've been saying that I just couldn't see where Mike Trout fit into the current mix. Guess what? Turns out I was right. The first issue is that Trout is only 20 years old. Despite being widely regarded as one of the handful of prospects in the game who could lay claim to the "top prospect in baseball," he simply doesn't have much professional baseball under his belt (he has 123 big league at-bats and 1,040 minor league at-bats). The second issue with Trout is that there are so many options that the Angels could turn to all over the field.
