Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) has been activated from the 60-day disabled list and is starting against the Giants on Wednesday. Ryu is 3-0 with a 2.12 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and career-high 10.9 K/9, but he's made just six starts this year and hasn't pitched in the majors since May 2. Expect the Dodgers to ease him back into a big workload, so he's not the best fantasy option Wednesday. The left-hander should definitely be on rosters in all leagues, though.

Ryu has been out for three months after tearing his groin off the bone, so he'll need at least a handful more starts before becoming an option for LA's rotation. Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Hyun-Jin Ryu (groin) will begin a minor league rehab assignment next week. The Korean left-hander hasn't started a game since early May, but he was great in his six starts before that, going 3-0 with a 2.12 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 36 K's over 29 2/3 innings. He still has some time before he'll rejoin LA's rotation, but it's time to start thinking about stashing him in deep mixed leagues if he's available.

Ryu hasn't pitched since May 2, but when he has started this year he's been lights out, compiling a 2.12 ERA, 0.87 WHIP and career-high 10.9 K/9 in six starts (29 2/3 innings). The left-hander will return to the starting rotation at some point after the All-Star break. You'll want to consider adding him to your roster if he was dropped by his previous owner.
