Goodman is not in the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman has been a top-three catcher for traditional fantasy leagues so far this season on account of his .275 average, seven homers, one steal, 31 RBI and 25 runs scored. He has been anchoring the Colorado lineup in the No. 3 spot but will get a rare day off with the Rockies playing an early-afternoon game on Memorial Day. Jacob Stallings will catch for starter Carson Palmquist while Nick Martini serves as the designated hitter.

Goodman went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a stolen base Wednesday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman went hitless across the first two games of the Rockies' homestand but delivered a well-rounded line Wednesday. He remains one of Colorado's most consistent hitters and has hit .313 with two homers, 17 RBI and eight runs scored across 19 games in May.

Goodman went 3-for-6 with a home run, a double, two total runs and four total RBI in a 14-12 win against the Diamondbacks on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman smashed a two-run homer to left field in the first inning and added a two-run single in the sixth. The 25-year-old backstop has been swinging a hot stick of late, batting .429 (15-for-35) with two homers, eight runs and 11 RBI over his past eight games. Goodman has emerged at one of the league's better offensive catchers this season, as he ranks second at the position with 29 RBI while slashing .300/.354/.506 with seven long balls through 43 contests.

Goodman went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer, a triple, a double, five RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman got his day started with a three-run blast in the opening frame. He followed that up with a two-run triple in the third and a double in the seventh, leaving him only a single shy of hitting for the cycle. Since April 25, Goodman is hitting .349/.373/.556 with two homers, 13 RBI and 11 runs scored. He's maintained an aggressive approach at the plate, as it's been 63 plate appearances since his last walk, but he's been one of the few bright spots for this dismal Rockies team and has produced solid numbers both in Denver (.827 OPS) and on the road (.846 OPS) this year.

Goodman went 3-for-5 with two doubles, one RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 13-9 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
It was the third time this season that Goodman ripped multiple extra-base hits, and Friday marked his first three-hit attack of the year. The 25-year-old catcher has now hit safely in 10 of his last 11 outings, during which he's batting .318 (14-for-44) with eight RBI and four runs scored. Whether it be behind the plate or as the designated hitter, Goodman has settled into an everyday role to begin 2025. His .277 batting average on the season ranks third among qualifying catchers in the major leagues.

Goodman went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in a loss to Atlanta on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman helped Colorado get off to a fast start with a three-run blast to left field in the first inning, but that was the final time the Rockies got on the scoreboard. Goodman has been one of the few bright spots in what has been a horrendous 4-24 start to the season for Colorado -- he is tied for the team lead with five long balls and ranks first on the Rockies with 14 RBI and 15 runs while slashing .256/.350/.478. Goodman's production has been especially valuable in fantasy given his status as a backstop.

Goodman went 2-for-3 with two walks, two doubles and three runs scored Friday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman's production has come in waves this season, but he's performed well across his last 10 games. He had at least one hit in eight of his last nine games entering Friday, going 9-for-33 with two home runs, six RBI and six runs scored over that span. Goodman's production also hasn't come solely thanks to Coors Field.

Goodman went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in the first game of Thursday's doubleheader against the Royals. He went 0-for-4 in the nightcap.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old opened the scoring in Thursday's matinee with a two-out, RBI single off Cole Ragans before extending Colorado's lead to 4-2 with a two-run homer in the third, his fourth long ball this season. Goodman saw his eight-game hitting streak end in the nightcap -- he went 9-for-29 (.310) with two homers and six RBI in that span. He's been serving as the Rockies' primary catcher this season and is slashing .237/.326/.434 with 11 RBI and 10 runs scored across 86 plate appearances.

Goodman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Dodgers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Goodman brought Colorado to within two runs with his two-run blast to center field in the seventh inning, but that was the final time either team crossed the plate. The third-year catcher began the season on a strong foot with a .368 average and two homers over his first five games, but he tailed off after that -- Monday's long ball snapped an eight-game homerless streak during which he went just 2-for-24 at the plate. Goodman's big power makes him an attractive fantasy target though, and he's seeing plenty of action as Colorado's primary backstop this season.

Goodman is not in the Rockies' starting lineup against the Padres on Saturday.
