Hiram Burgos (shoulder) allowed two runs in four innings for High-A Brevard County on Tuesday in his second minor league rehab start. Burgos, who is working his way back from a right shoulder impingement, struck out four and walked none. It's not clear if he'll require another rehab start. The 25-year-old right-hander has a 6.44 ERA and 18/11 K/BB ratio in 29 1/3 innings over six starts this season.

Hiram Burgos' scheduled rehab start Monday has been pushed back due to stiffness in his right shoulder. The Brewers are hoping it's only a minor setback. "He's playing catch today and is supposed to have a bullpen tomorrow, then we will re-evaluate," manager Ron Roenicke said Monday. "Hopefully, he is good and we can get him pitching in games."

Hiram Burgos (shoulder) is scheduled to begin a minor league rehab assignment Monday at Low-A Wisconsin. Burgos has been sidelined since May 22 because of a right shoulder impingement. The young righty will likely be asked to make at least two starts on the farm and could be optioned to Triple-A once he's deemed healthy.

Hiram Burgos (shoulder) will not return from the disabled list on Thursday, the first day he's eligible. It's not clear how far along Burgos, who is dealing with a right shoulder impingement, is. Chris Narveson (finger) might be ready for activation before him, so Burgos could be optioned to Triple-A once healthy.

Brewers placed RHP Hiram Burgos on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 22, with a right shoulder impingement. The move clears a spot for Tom Gorzelanny's return from the disabled list. The severity of Burgos' injury isn't yet clear and the Brewers haven't announced who will start in his place Monday. The rookie right-hander has a 6.44 ERA and 18/11 K/BB ratio in 29 1/3 innings over six starts this season.

Hiram Burgos lost to the Pirates after allowing three runs in five innings on Thursday. Burgos pitched pretty well in his first three starts last month, but he gave up 11 runs to the Reds on Saturday and he was pretty mediocre tonight. His next start is slated to come against the Dodgers on Tuesday, but it's possible he won't be in the rotation by then.

Hiram Burgos was destroyed for 12 runs -- 10 earned -- over three innings Saturday in a loss to the Reds. It's hard to imagine a spot start going any worse. Burgos yielded 11 hits and three walks to the 24 batters he faced. He now has a brutal 6.86 ERA on the season.
