Bader went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo home runs in Friday's 4-3 win over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Friday marked the third career multi-homer game for Bader, who played the role of hero with his first career walk-off blast in the ninth inning. It was also Bader's first multi-hit effort since June 13, but he continues to play a semi-regular role in the Twins' outfield. Bader is slashing a respectable .251/.328/.420 with nine big flies, 10 doubles, 29 RBI and seven stolen bases over his 247 plate appearances.

Bader is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Bader had started in left field in each of the Twins' last three games, but Minnesota was without super-utility man Willi Castro for two of those contests while he recovered from a sore wrist. Castro returned to the starting nine at third base in Wednesday's 2-0 win but will shift to left field for the series finale, leaving no room in the lineup for Bader. Though the right-handed-hitting Bader will likely continue to play regularly versus left-handed pitching, his opportunities against righties could become more sporadic while the Twins use Castro in the corner outfield in order to open up playing time at second base and third base for Kody Clemens and Brooks Lee, respectively.

Bader is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
With Bader resting in the series finale, Willi Castro will move to Bader's usual spot in left field, while Kody Clemens enters the lineup at the keystone. Bader brings excellent defense in the outfield, but he's slashing just .176/.275/.353 since the middle of May and has now sat out three straight matchups with right-handed starting pitchers. He could be at risk of losing out on more playing time once Royce Lewis (hamstring) returns from the injured list to bring the Twins' position player group back to full strength.

Bader went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run during Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Bader delivered a go-ahead three-run homer in the sixth inning off of Andrew Abbott to give the Twins a 5-4 lead. The long ball was Bader's seventh of the campaign and second in his last 10 appearances. During that stretch, Bader is 7-for-32 (.219) with a 3:14 BB:K. He's slashing .257/.347/.429 on the year.

Bader is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Bader is on the bench for the second time in three games while he's in the midst of an extended rough spell at the plate; dating back to May 25, he's slashing just .129/.243/.290 with a 29.7 percent strikeout rate. Though Bader is a strong defender in the outfield, the Twins could transition him into more of a part-time role if they want to move super-utility man Willi Castro to the corner outfield on a more regular basis in order to open up more opportunities for Brooks Lee and Kody Clemens in the infield.

Bader is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Bader appears to be receiving a routine day off after starting each of the Twins' last five games. Willi Castro will fill in for Bader in left field.

Bader went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 6-1 victory versus the Athletics on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader belted a two-run blast in the fifth inning to give the Twins a 3-0 lead. The long ball was a much-needed big hit after the veteran outfielder entered Wednesday having gone 1-for-13 over his previous eight contests. Bader was sidelined for a few games during that span due to a finger injury, so his power display Wednesday was a welcome sign that suggests he's beyond the issue.

Bader (finger) is starting in left field and batting eighth against Seattle on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader was out of the Twins' lineup for four consecutive games due to a right finger injury, but he's been cleared to start in Saturday's contest. He has slashed .321/.391/.500 with five steals, two home runs and eight RBI in 64 plate appearances since the beginning of May.

Bader (finger) isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Bader has now missed four consecutive starts due to a finger issue that first appeared Monday. It's unclear how close he is to rejoining the starting nine, but the Twins may begin thinking about placing him on the injured list if he doesn't return soon. Meanwhile, Willi Castro, Byron Buxton and Kody Clemens will start across the outfield Friday.

Bader (finger) isn't part of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Bader is absent from the starting nine for a third consecutive game due to a sore finger. Trevor Larnach will patrol left field while DaShawn Keirsey and Kody Clemens fill center and right field, respectively. Minnesota will have an off day Thursday before starting a three-game weekend series against the Mariners.
