Bader isn't in the Yankees' lineup Friday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Bader has gone 1-for-11 in three games since returning from the injured list Tuesday. He'll get a day off Friday as Isiah Kiner-Falefa gets the start in center field while batting sixth.

Bader went 1-for-3 with a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's win over the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Bader singled in his first at-bat of the game and stole second before coming around to score on a two-run homer from Billy McKinney. Bader provided an immediate impact to the lineup after missing just about three weeks with a hamstring injury and should carve himself out a regular role moving forward while presenting an intriguing power-speed combination and plus defense. The 29-year-old currently sits at a slash line of .269/.296/.505 with six homers, 19 RBI, 15 runs, seven steals and a 3:13 BB:K over 98 plate appearances.

Bader is starting in center field and batting sixth in his return to the lineup Tuesday versus the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
It will be Bader's first game in June after he missed three weeks of action with a strained right hamstring. He's put up an .806 OPS with six home runs and six stolen bases when healthy this season and the Yankees will be hoping he can provide a boost to a struggling lineup.

The Yankees reinstated Bader (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
A strained right hamstring forced Bader onto the injured list at the end of May, and the speedy outfielder will officially return Tuesday after a minor delay. Bader went 2-for-12 with five strikeouts during his three-game rehab assignment, and he was 4-for-17 with a home run and two RBI across his last five games prior to getting injured.

Bader (hamstring) will play two more rehab games with Double-A Somerset on Friday and Saturday before returning from the injured list Tuesday, Randy Miller and Max Goodman of NJ.com report.
EDGE Analysis
The initial expectation was that Bader would be activated Friday ahead of the Yankees' series in Boston. However, the outfielder or team evidently decided he could use a couple more rehab games after going 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his first rehab contest with Somerset on Wednesday. Bader has been sidelined since late May with a right hamstring strain.

Bader (hamstring) was not activated from the injured list prior to Friday's game against the Red Sox, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
The expectation had been that Bader would return from the injured list for the Yankees' weekend series in Boston, but that hasn't happened, at least not yet. There's been no indication that he's had a setback, so perhaps the club just decided to give him one more day to recover. Billy McKinney is playing center field Friday.

Bader (hamstring) will play in a rehab game Wednesday before being activated Friday, Yankees manager Aaron Boone said in an interview on the Talkin' Yanks podcast Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bader's return for the weekend series in Boston is predicated on him getting through Wednesday's rehab contest with no issues, of course. The center fielder has been sidelined since late May with a right hamstring strain and a return date had seemed unclear, but it sounds like the Yankees and fantasy managers will be getting him back soon.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Friday that he's unsure whether Bader (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment next week, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Friday is the first day Bader is eligible for activation from the injured list, but clearly it's going to be awhile longer for the speedy outfielder. He strained his right hamstring back on May 29.

Bader (hamstring) is unlikely to be ready for activation from the injured list when first eligible Friday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Bader has been going through some baseball activities and hasn't felt anything in his strained right hamstring, but he just needs a little more time. A return around the middle of the month seems possible. The Yankees are using Isiah Kiner-Falefa in center field with Bader out.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone told reporters after Tuesday's win over the Mariners that Bader's right hamstring strain is considered low grade, and he'll be out for at least a couple of weeks, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's positive news that the MRI on Hader's hamstring didn't reveal any significant structural damage, but the Yankees will still be without their starting centerfielder for at least two weeks with the possibility for more. While Hader recovers, the Yankees will likely play Greg Allen in center with Isiah Kiner-Falefa also a plausible candidate to get reps in the middle of the outfield.
