Gio Gonzalez Shelled on Sunday rotoballer.com Sun 8/19/18 1:51 PM
Nationals starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez took a tough loss Sunday against the Marlins. In 4.2 innings, Gonzalez gave up 10 hits and four walks resulting in eight earned runs. The only saving grace for fantasy owners from this start was the five strikeouts. August has been brutal for Gonzalez as this is his third start with at least five earned runs and less than five innings pitched. His next start is scheduled for Saturday against the Mets.

BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 4% of leagues
ANALYSIS: St. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher John Gant helped himself with a homer off of Gio Gonzalez on Tuesday night to fuel his second straight victory, as the Cardinals continued to kick the Nationals while they are down. The righty is not more than a streamer thanks to a mediocre 65-to-31 strikeout-to-walk ratio -- he just cannot overwhelm opponents -- but those who streamed him against the Marlins and Nationals know th[...]

Brewers Pursuing Gio Gonzalez rotoballer.com Tue 7/31/18 8:27 AM
The Milwaukee Brewers are pursuing Washington Nationals starting pitcher Gio Gonzalez, according to a source. Gonzalez hasn't been great this year but hasn't been bad either. He's gong 6-7 with a 3.78 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 8.1 K/9 over 21 starts. A move to hitter-friendly Miller Park might be a little sketchy for the lefty, but a trade there probably wouldn't change his fantasy value all that much.

Nathan Eovaldi to the Red Sox - Fantasy Implications rotoballer.com Sun 7/29/18 4:15 AM
As if the Boston Red Sox didn't already have one of the top rotations in baseball this year, they managed to improve upon it by acquiring Nathan Eovaldi from the Rays on Wednesday.
Eovaldi has been working his way back from his second Tommy John surgery, and in his first action in over a year and a half he has been putting up some of the best numbers of his career with the Rays. In return for Eovaldi, Boston sent to Tampa Bay pitching prospect Jalen Beeks, who has also been having a career ye[...]
