Gonzalez is more valuable as a member to the White Sox than as a member to fantasy squads and can be avoided outside of streaming to start the 2020 season.

Gonzalez has made big time progress and has no doubts that he will be ready for Opening Day and is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Thursday. The lefty went 3-2 with a 3.50 ERA in 17 starts and two relief appearances last year with the Brewers. Gonzalez doesnt offer strikeout potential and is best suited as a streamer in all formats for now.

The 34-year-old left-hander was 3-2 with a 3.50 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 78 strikeouts in 87 1/3 innings in 17 starts and two relief appearances for the Brew Crew in 2019.
