Atlanta optioned Wall to Triple-A Gwinnett on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Wall got an opportunity in left field against right-handed pitching but managed just a .573 OPS in 11 games after being promoted last month. He's being sent out in favor of Eli White as Atlanta scrambles for replacements in its injury-riddled outfield.

Wall went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Wall has gone 6-for-25 (.240) with three walks and three steals on five attempts since he rejoined Atlanta in mid-June. The outfielder is hitting .231 with three steals, one RBI and three runs scored across 29 plate appearances this season. He appears set for at least a strong-side platoon role for the remainder of the first half while Ramon Laureano (oblique) is on the mend.

Wall is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty-hitting Wall will sit for the second time in the series while the Pirates bring another southpaw (Martin Perez) to the hill. With Wall on the bench, Luke Williams will pick up a start in left field.

Wall went 1-for-2 with a walk and two stolen bases in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old pilfered his first two bags of the year against a rusty Willson Contreras, who was making his return from a lengthy IL stint. In four games since getting called up last week, Wall has gone 3-for-10 while working on the strong side of a platoon in left field with Adam Duvall, and his speed gives him some fantasy utility in deeper formats.

Wall isn't in Atlanta's lineup for Sunday's game versus the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
The lefty-hitting Wall will retreat to the dugout Sunday as the Yankees prepare to send southpaw Nestor Cortes to the mound. Adam Duvall will fill the opening in left field and bat seventh instead.

Wall is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
After being called up from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday, Wall started in left field in both of the first two games of the series versus Detroit and went 2-for-5 with an RBI. Atlanta looks as though it'll give the lefty-hitting Wall a look as a strong-side platoon player in the corner outfield, but he'll head to the bench Wednesday in favor of Ramon Laureano while the Tigers bring southpaw Tarik Skubal to the hill.

Wall went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Monday's win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The 28-year-old drove home Atlanta's first run of the night in the seventh inning with a two-out single. Wall was making his first start of the season in the majors -- he made two appearances off the bench in April before being sent down to Triple-A Gwinnett -- and he could be in line for consistent playing time as a strong-side platoon partner for Ramon Laureano, with Atlanta missing both Ronald Acuna (knee) and Michael Harris (hamstring) from its usual starting outfield. Wall was slashing .287/.393/.415 with four homers and 10 steals in 44 games for Gwinnett.

Wall will start in left field and bat eighth in Monday's game versus the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
After receiving a promotion from Triple-A Gwinnett earlier Monday, Wall will immediately enter an Atlanta starting lineup that's been hit hard by injuries recently. The lefty-hitting Wall could end up seeing some regular reps in the outfield against right-handed pitching with Michael Harris (hamstring) recently joining Ronald Acuna (knee) on the injured list.

Atlanta recalled Wall from Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
It's possible the left-handed-hitting Wall could get some regular looks in the outfield if Atlanta prefers to limit Adam Duvall's and Ramon Laureano's exposure to right-handed pitching. If that happens, Wall would make for an interesting deep-league addition in fantasy leagues given his speed, as he's stolen 11 bases this season at Gwinnett and swiped 52 bags in 2023. He's capable of handling all three outfield spots.
