White went 1-for-4 with a two-run single in a loss to the Giants on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
White's clutch piece of third-inning hitting snapped a 1-1 tie and gave the 24-year-old hits in each of his first two games to open the campaign. It's an encouraging start for White, who finished Cactus League play strong and is looking to bounce back from his anemic .176/.252/.346 line across 202 plate appearances as a rookie in 2020.

White went 5-for-11 with a double, a home run, four RBI, two walks, a stolen base and three runs over his five final Cactus League games.
EDGE Analysis
White put together a couple of different hot streaks during the exhibition slate, helping him to an impressive 16 RBI over 19 games. The slugging first baseman's ability to overcome an abysmal start to Cactus League play certainly offers some encouragement, as does the fact he struck out a modest 10 times across 54 plate appearances after doing so at a 41.6 percent rate as a rookie in 2020.

White went 1-for-3 with a grand slam in a Cactus League loss to the Angels on Wednesday and is 3-for-6 with six total RBI over his last two spring games.
EDGE Analysis
White entered Tuesday's exhibition versus the Royals hitting an anemic .095 (2-for-21), but he put together his first multi-hit effort of the spring in that contest, driving in a pair of runs in the process. Wednesday's big blast accounted for Seattle's only runs of the night while pushing White's spring RBI tally to an impressive 11, and Alyson Footer of MLB.com reports the recent success seems to be the byproduct of a more aggressive plate approach. "Evan's got big-time power, it's just the consistency of getting to his pitch and getting it in play," manager Scott Servais said. "He had some good swings [Wednesday]. You're starting to see the timing and confidence coming together here."

White is 1-for-10 with a double, a walk and two RBI across his first five Cactus League games.
EDGE Analysis
White is once again ticketed for everyday duties at first base after logging 54 starts there as a rookie in 2020. The 24-year-old managed an anemic .176/.252/.346 line across his 202 plate appearances, but he displayed some promising pop by lacing 15 of his 32 hits for extra bases (seven doubles, eight home runs).

White went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Monday's 6-1 win over the Astros.

White hit his seventh homer of the year off Astros starter Lance McCullers in the seventh inning. That blast gave the Mariners some extra breathing room in what had been a low-scoring battle to that point. The first baseman White has produced 24 RBI, 17 runs scored and a stolen base in 48 games this year.

EDGE Analysis
White got the Mariners on the scoreboard with a 403-foot solo blast against Pierce Johnson in the bottom of the eighth inning. The long ball was the sixth of the year for the 24-year-old, who is batting .177/.256/.340 overall.

White went 2-for-4 with a run in a loss to the Giants on Tuesday and is now hitting .353 (6-for-17) over his first five September games.
EDGE Analysis
The rookie's season line sat at a ghastly .104/.164/.179 on Aug. 12, but White has subsequently slashed .296/.377/.593 with four doubles, four home runs, 15 RBI, six walks, a stolen base and nine runs over the following 17 games. The significant improvement still leaves White's season-long numbers at .190/.261/.364, but it's been key to the Mariners' unexpected surge and given White's fantasy managers some solace during what looked to be a wasted campaign at one point.

White went 2-for-2 with a two-run double, two walks and a run in a win over the Rangers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
White left the 0-for-9 skid he walked into Friday's resumption of play with in the dust via his stellar performance, churning out his third multi-hit effort in the last six starts. The rookie is still slashing just .179/.254/.377 for the season, but there are undeniable signs he's starting to make inroads against big-league arms -- factoring in Friday's production, White owns a .348/.423/.609 line with three doubles, one home run and 10 RBI over the 26 plate appearances he's logged in the last seven contests overall.

White (shoulder) went 1-for-4 with a single and two strikeouts in Sunday's 2-1 extra-inning win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
White's single came in the 10th inning as the Mariners applied pressure on the Angels' bullpen. The rookie first baseman is slashing .170/.236/.370 with five homers, 17 RBI, eight runs scored and a stolen base in 30 games this season. He missed three games with the shoulder injury, but White should see a majority of the playing time at first base going forward.
