Young went 2-for-4 with a homer, a walk and two RBI in Tuesday's 11-inning win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
First he tied the game with his solo shot in the eighth, then he won it in walkoff style with his 11th-inning infield single. Young's been a revelation since being recalled, hitting .314 with three homers, five steals, nine RBI and 13 runs in 15 games, but it's well worth noting that we're talking about a well-traveled 32-year-old who barely sniffed the majors last season. The league will adjust, and Young's production will most likely dry up accordingly. Still, it doesn't hurt to pick him up in deeper formats while he's running hot.

Young went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, four RBI and a stolen base during Sunday's win over Houston.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran has been solid since being recalled to the Angels with a .934 OPS, two homers, seven RBI, four stolen bases and 11 runs through just 13 games. He's definitely on the fantasy radar in deeper settings, and his speed is a legitimate weapon on the base paths. Young posted an impressive .947 OPS with Triple-A Salt Lake before being recalled to the majors, too.

Young went 3-for-5 with a double, an RBI and three runs scored during Thursday's win over Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
Young has made the most of his opportunity in the majors this season with a .333/.436/.515 slash line through 39 plate appearances. The veteran posted a .947 OPS with Triple-A Salt Lake before joining the Angels, and he still has the wheels to help in the stolen bases column. He's receiving full-time at-bats since being recalled to the majors and is a potential add candidate, especially if you're in need of steals.

Young was 0-for-4 with a strikeout Thursday during the Angels' 4-2 loss to the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
After Mike Trout (thumb) was placed on the disabled list, Young was called up and he has made the most of his opportunity. He has started four consecutive days, and despite a hitless night Thursday, he entered that game 5-for-11 with a walk in 12 plate appearances. For the time being, it appears he will see a decent chunk of playing time in Trout's absence.

Young went 2-for-2 with a go-ahead home run in the eighth inning of Wednesday's 2-1 win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder has hit the ground running since getting the call to the majors Monday, collecting five hits, a homer and two steals in three starts. It appears that Young has earned a regular spot in the outfield and could continue to see time until Mike Trout (thumb) returns in 6-8 weeks, giving him value as a source for stolen bases.

Young started in left field Monday, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases in a loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
The speedy outfielder got the call to the majors to replace Mike Trout (thumb), and he was immediately inserted in the starting lineup. The veteran's primary asset is his blazing speed, and he put that on display Monday. It was unclear if Young or Ben Revere would see that bulk of playing time in Trout's stead, but based off of manager Mike Scioscia's starting lineup against a righty, the former appears to have a taken an early lead. The 32-year-old is worth a speculative add for owners hurting for steals.

Young has been called up by the Angels and is batting ninth and playing left field in Monday's game against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Young was raking at Triple-A, with a .354/.419/.528 batting line over 44 games. He has just a .642 OPS over an eight-year MLB career, but the combination of his experience and his hot start to 2017 was enough to earn him the spot on the Angels roster vacated due to Mike Trout's injury. Expect Young and Ben Revere to split starting duties in the outfield with Trout out.

Young was reassigned to the Angels' minor-league camp Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran speedster was unable to parlay an invitation to big-league camp into an Opening Day roster spot, as the Angels determined they had more appealing utility options on hand. Young, who made six appearances for the Yankees last season, is expected to open the 2017 campaign with Triple-A Salt Lake.

Young agreed to a minor league contract with the Angels on Tuesday, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The vast majority of Young's playing time in 2016 came at Triple-A Colorado Springs, where he slashed .263/.338/.339 over 116 games. That performance was an adequate representation of what's become expected from Young, as he's failed to demonstrate the consistent ability to hit for power or average since showing flashes of promise in 2012. While it's likely that Young will start 2017 in the minors, the possibility exists that the utility man could see occasional time with the big club if injuries become a problem for the Angels.

Young declined an outright assignment Thursday and is now a free agent.
EDGE Analysis
Before being traded to the Yankees, Young spent the entirety of his season at Triple-A Colorado Springs, where he hit a mediocre .263/.338/.339. The 31-year-old has had plenty of exposure to the majors over the course of his career, as he's played in 563 games. However, he has yet to impress and owns a .246/.314/.327 line for his career.
