Robinson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson had been seeing regular starts in the outfield against right-handed pitching for the past three weeks, but his opportunities will likely dry up completely after Delino DeShields (hand) was activated from the disabled list Sunday and immediately inserted into the lineup. Though his ability to play three infield spots will keep Robinson on the active roster as a utility man for the time being, he hasn't done enough offensively to warrant a longer look from manager Jeff Banister. Robinson has hit .179/.281/.250 and has struck out in 31 of his 64 plate appearances (48.4 percent) on the season.

Robinson entered Monday's game at shortstop after Jurickson Profar was pulled to undergo concussion protocol. He went 1-for-2 and scored a run in an 8-4 loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson has some infield experience, but has just three games at the position during his career. With Elvis Andrus (elbow) and Rougned Odor (hamstring) unavailable, a lingering injury to Profar leaves the Rangers scrambling at the keystone. Robinson and Isiah Kiner-Falefa will hold down the starting jobs, pending Profar's prognosis.

Robinson is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson, who is 0-for-11 with nine strikeouts in his previous three games, will head to the bench for a second straight contest as the Rays send out a lefty starter (Blake Snell). In his place, right-handed Carlos Tocci will start in center field and hit ninth.

Robinson is not in the lineup Sunday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Over the last three games, Robinson has gone 0-for-11 and struck out nine times, bringing his batting average down to .167 for the year. He'll head to the bench while Carlos Tocci starts in center field.

Robinson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson has taken over as the club's primary center fielder since Delino DeShields (hand) hit the shelf, but the 25-year-old will hit the bench Sunday with a lefty (Jaime Garcia) on the mound for Toronto. The right-handed Carlos Tocci will enter the lineup in Robinson's stead and bat ninth.

Robinson returned to the lineup Thursday and went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a caught stealing in a 6-3 win over the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson, who was given the day off Wednesday, has been the primary center field replacement for the injured Delino DeShields (hand). The 25-year-old has hit hits in four straight games and reached base safely in all five played. He's part of the lower half of the order, which ignited and sustained rallies Thursday, but overall those same lineup spots have done little over the first week of the season. If Robinson continues to get on base and move runners along, he should be in the lineup regularly during DeShields' absence.

Robinson went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson made a second consecutive start in center field, filling in for the injured Delino Deshields, who will miss four-to-six weeks after undergoing surgery to remove the hamate bone in his left hand. He's not very experienced at the position, having played just five games out there prior to 2018, and the Rangers are exploring center field options on the market, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports. Still, Robinson, who's had a hand in two of the three runs the offensively starved Rangers scored over the last two games, will get a majority of the at-bats in center field for now. Texas also has Rule 5 selection Carlos Tocci who can play center field, but the organization didn't plan for him to have a regular role this season.

Robinson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-2 loss to the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson drew the start in center field, the position normally occupied by the injured Delino DeShields, who will miss up to six weeks with a fractured hamate bone in his left hand. Robinson has appeared in both games since DeShields was placed on the disabled list -- he played left field Saturday -- and should get more opportunities as long as DeShields remains sidelined. He had been in line for the heavy side of a platoon in left field, but lost the job completely to Ryan Rua. But that hasn't worked out so well for the Rangers as Rua is hitless in nine at-bats. If that keeps up, Robinson may get regular at-bats regardless of DeShields' status.

Robinson will start in center field and bat ninth Sunday against the Astros, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers have a vacancy in center field with Delino DeShields likely to miss more than a month with a broken hand, and it looks like Robinson and Carlos Tocci will be tasked with filling the void. Both players hit from the right side and have received starts since DeShields was placed on the disabled list, so it appears manager Jeff Banister will opt for a timeshare at the position for now until one candidate separates himself from the other.

Robinson was told that he'll make the Rangers' Opening Day roster Monday, Levi Weaver of The Athletic Dallas reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robinson's roster spot briefly appeared under threat after reports revealed that Texas was considering giving Ryan Rua the everyday left field role. It now appears that Robinson will open the season with the team, though possibly in a bench role. Playing in a hitter-friendly home park should help Robinson's numbers, but if he's strictly a bench bat he's unlikely to have much value in most fantasy leagues.
