The Brewers recalled Hall from Triple-A Nashville on Friday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall is the designated 27th man for Friday's doubleheader against the Reds and will start the second game. The left-hander made a spot start earlier this month -- his first with the Brewers since April -- and struck out nine while yielding three runs (one earned) over 4.2 innings. Hall is likely to be sent back down immediately following the double dip.

Hall has joined the Brewers in Milwaukee and could be recalled from Triple-A Nashville to start or serve as a bulk reliever in the second game of Friday's doubleheader in Cincinnati, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall made a spot start earlier this month against the Reds, allowing three runs (one earned) while striking out nine over 4.2 frames. The left-hander would likely be added as the 27th man Friday and then be returned to Triple-A immediately following the twin bill. Colin Rea is scheduled to start Friday's matinee for Milwaukee.

The Brewers optioned Hall to Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Hall had some good moments in his return from the 60-day injured list Sunday, as he struck out a career-high nine batters while allowing three runs over 4.2 innings in a spot start against the Reds. However, the Brewers will stick with a five-man rotation moving forward, so Hall will head back to Nashville and stay stretched out while he waits for a starting spot to open up.

Hall didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Reds, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks across 4.2 innings. He struck out nine.
EDGE Analysis
Hall made his first big-league appearance since going on the shelf in late April with a sprained left knee and came out firing. Through three scoreless innings, Hall had punched out six batters, but he got a little wild in the fourth frame. He allowed Spencer Steer to steal a base on a wild pitch, walked Stuart Fairchild on six pitches and hit TJ Freidl with a pitch as part of a two-run inning for Cincinnati. He bounced back by retiring the first two batters of the fifth frame but was yanked after surrendering a solo homer to Tyler Stephenson and handing out a walk to Steer. Unless the Brewers expand to a six-man rotation, expect the 25-year-old Hall to be moved to the bullpen.

The Brewers reinstated Hall (knee) from the 60-day injured list Sunday. He'll start in Milwaukee's series finale with Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Milwaukee already has five healthy starters, so unless manager Pat Murphy plans to expand the rotation to six men, Hall could be headed to the bullpen following Sunday's outing, which will be his first with the big club since April 20. Before landing on the IL due to a left knee sprain, Hall's spot in the rotation may have already been on thin ice, as he submitted a 7.71 ERA and 2.27 WHIP across 16.1 innings over his four starts with the big club this season. The left-hander displayed better form over the final three outings of his rehab assignment with Triple-A Nashville, logging a 2.77 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 12:6 K:BB across 13 innings. Hall topped out at five innings and 76 pitches during his rehab assignment, so he shouldn't be operating under any significant workload restrictions Sunday.

The Brewers could reinstate Hall (knee) from the 60-day injured list and have him start Sunday against the Reds, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers do not have a starter listed for Sunday, but Hall would be available on four days' rest after he allowed one run over four innings in his latest rehab start with Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday. Colin Rea would also be available on normal rest, but the Brewers may want to give him an extra day to recover from the seven shutout innings he tossed Tuesday in Atlanta. Hall has not made a start in the majors since late April, as he's been working his way back from a left knee sprain.

Hall (knee) will make at least one more rehab start with Triple-A Nashville, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hall was able to get through five innings during his latest rehab start Wednesday -- his longest outing out of all 12 minor-league appearances he's made since landing on the IL in April. He'll most likely move to the bullpen once he comes off the injured list, but the Brewers will give him one more start in the minors to stretch out even further -- just in case he's needed in the MLB rotation.

Hall (knee) struck out four and allowed one earned run on one hit and two walks over four innings in his rehab start Friday with Triple-A Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Currently in the midst of his third rehab assignment while he makes his way back from a lengthy absence due to a left knee sprain, Hall delivered perhaps his most encouraging outing yet. The four innings represented his longest outing at any level since April 6, and though he issued two walks and surrendered a solo home run, Hall largely avoided traffic on the bases. He tossed 57 pitches (36 strikes) in Friday's start, so the Brewers will presumably want to see Hall get further stretched out over another rehab start or two before bringing him back from the 60-day injured list. Joe Ross (knee) looks on track to return from the 60-day IL to start Tuesday against Atlanta, but Hall could end up usurping Ross as Milwaukee's No. 5 starter once he gets reinstated.

Hall (knee/forearm) struck out one batter and gave up two earned runs on three hits and two walks over 2.2 innings in his rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Nashville.
EDGE Analysis
Hall resumed his rehab assignment with Nashville after he had been shut down for just under two weeks while he recovered from a bruised left forearm, an injury he sustained when he was struck by a line drive in his previous outing July 9. As expected, Hall looks like he'll be built back up for a starting role, as he tossed 49 pitches (26 strikes) in his return to Nashville. He'll likely need at least two more outings in the minors to get fully stretched out before the Brewers potentially bring him back from the 60-day injured list a clear a spot for him in the rotation.

Hall (knee/forearm) will head to Triple-A Nashville on Sunday to resume his rehab assignment, Sophia Minnaert of Bally Sports Wisconsin reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it's unclear if Hall is scheduled to pitch Sunday in Nashville's game against Norfolk, the right-hander at least isn't being shut down from throwing any longer after his rehab assignment was extended when he was hit in the left forearm by a comebacker in his last outing July 9. Though Hall has yet to cover more than three innings in any of his nine outings between his first two separate minor-league rehab assignments, general manager Matt Arnold said last Sunday that the southpaw will get stretched back out to start as he resumes pitching with Nashville. Hall had previously made all four of his appearances with Milwaukee as a starter before landing on the injured list April 21 with a left knee sprain.
