Gregorius is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rays, Mike Mazzeo of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees are going with a primarily right-handed hitting lineup against lefty Blake Snell, so Gregorius will head to the bench while Ronald Torreyes picks up a start at shortstop in his stead. Gregorius is starting to find a rhythm at the dish after a prolonged slump, as he's hitting a solid .270/.357/.432 across 10 games in June.

Gregorius is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius will take a seat for the second game of Monday's twin bill after going 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored during the Yankees' 7-4 win in Game 1. Gleyber Torres will slide over to man shortstop in his stead, allowing Neil Walker to pick up a start at the keystone.

Gregorius will start at shortstop and hit seventh Monday against the Astros, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius is batting a lowly .102 since April 28, but Yankees manager Aaron Boone has kept deploying him between the Nos. 3 and 5 spots in the order for the past month with the hope that shortstop's production would eventually turn a corner. After Gregorius went hitless during the Yankees' three-game series with the Angels over the weekend, it appears Boone has finally had a change of heart. Gregorius' placement as the No. 7 hitter represents his lowest slotting of the season, and there's reason to believe he may be stuck in the bottom third until his bat begins to heat up after the Yankees recently added another lefty power bat to their lineup in first baseman Greg Bird.

Gregorius is not in the lineup Sunday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius will hit the bench for the second consecutive game as the Yankees again turn to Ronald Torreyes at shortstop. Gregorius still owns a 123 wRC+ on the season but has picked up just one hit in his last 39 at-bats. Manager Aaron Boone may be hoping that a couple of days out of the lineup will help the struggling shortstop rediscover his elite form at the plate.

EDGE Analysis
Gregorius will head to the bench for a standard day off, as manager Aaron Boone admitted that he would like to give his shortstop some rest following Friday's affair. In his place, Ronald Torreyes will start at shortstop and bat ninth. Expect Gregorius back in the lineup for Sunday's series finale.

Gregorius went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius continued his incredible start to the season, driving his eighth home run of the season over the the right field wall in the fifth inning. In addition to now homering in three consecutive games, Gregorius is riding an eight game hitting streak that includes three multi-hit games. While nothing should be taken away from his prolific run, it is worth noting that his hitting streak has come entirely on a lengthy Yankees homestand and all eight of his home runs this season have also come at Yankee Stadium, one of the most advantageous environments for power production.

Gregorius went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Sunday's victory over the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Gregorius' excellent display of hitting continued Sunday as he hit his sixth home run of the season. The 28-year-old has now collected at least one hit in six consecutive games, over which he's driven in seven runs. Since the start of the season, Gregorious has played in 20 games and posted a stellar .333/.442/.742 line.

Gregorius went 2-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and three runs in the Yankees' 12-1 win over the Marlins on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
While the tandem of Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton are the most feared sluggers in the New York lineup, it's Gregorius who leads the team with five home runs on the season following Monday's power binge. The long balls weren't wall scrapers either, as Gregorius' two-run bomb in the fourth inning reached the second deck, while his solo shot in the seventh off lefty Chris O'Grady cleared the right-center wall by an estimated 30 feet. Gregorius' credentials as a power hitter weren't in much doubt after back-to-back 20-homer seasons, but the 28-year-old looks as though he might not have peaked yet based on the early returns in 2018.

EDGE Analysis
It's the first day off of the season for Gregorius, who has been an anchor in the New York lineup this season through nine games with a .367 average, three home runs and 10 RBI. With Gregorius getting a breather, Ronald Torreyes will step in at shortstop and bat ninth.
