Williams picked up the save in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Angels. He only faced two batters, allowing one hit before forcing a lineout to end the game.
EDGE Analysis
Williams continues to perform, as he still has not allowed a run across 9.1 innings this year. The right-hander's five saves are tied for fourth in the league, and he also sports a 0.86 WHIP. Fantasy managers can count on the fifth-year-veteran to get the job done more often than not.

Williams picked up the save Saturday against the Red Sox, allowing a hit and striking out one in a scoreless inning.
EDGE Analysis
Williams shut down the Red Sox in the ninth inning. It was just the third time in seven outings this season Williams has allowed a hit. He snapped an impressive streak of three appearances with three strikeouts. The Milwaukee closer has yet to allow a run in seven innings this season, and he's converted all three of his save chances.

Williams worked around a scoreless ninth inning Sunday to pick up his second save of the season in a 1-0 win over the Padres. He struck out three and walked two while also giving up a hit.
EDGE Analysis
Williams surrendered a leadoff walk to Juan Soto before racking up back-to-back strikeouts but found himself in trouble after a single and another walk loaded up the bases. The 28-year-old was able to get the job done by striking out Trent Grisham on a fastball. Williams has now picked up two saves and two wins in five appearances this season and has yet to give up a run. He needed 33 pitches to close out Sunday's game and will likely be unavailable Monday as the Brewers open up a three-game set with the Mariners.

Williams struck out all three batters he faced and picked up his second win of the season in Thursday's victory over the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was summoned from the bullpen with both teams even on the scoreboard in the bottom of the ninth inning, and he earned the win when the Brewers plated a run in the top of the 10th. Williams has had only one save opportunity thus far, but more are sure to come, particularly if the 9-4 Brewers -- who sit second league-wide in run differential -- maintain their winning ways.

Williams (1-0) worked a scoreless ninth inning Wednesday to get credit for the win in a 7-6 victory over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Seeing his first action since April 1 as he was afforded some extra rest due to a bicep bruise, Williams shut down New York on only nine pitches (five strikes), putting him in the right place to get the win when Garrett Mitchell launched a walkoff homer. After recording a career-high 15 saves last season with Josh Hader shipped to the Padres, Williams and his Airbender changeup figure to shatter than mark in 2023.

Williams (biceps) warmed up in the bullpen and was available if needed during Sunday's game against the Cubs, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
A liner deflected off Williams' right biceps during Saturday's win over the Cubs, but he was able to remain in the game to pick up the save. His availability was in question ahead of Sunday's series finale, but manager Craig Counsell said after the game that the right-hander would have been available in a save situation. While the Brewers' medical staff will likely continue to monitor Williams if he's feeling sore, it wouldn't be surprising to see him available for Milwaukee's home opener against the Mets on Monday.

Brewers manager Craig Counsell told reporters Sunday that Williams is sore after being hit in the biceps during Saturday's game against the Cubs and will need to throw before Sunday's game to determine his availability, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Williams was able to pick up a save Saturday against Chicago, but he is understandably sore after a single deflected off his biceps in that contest. The Brewers certainly won't take any risks with the right-hander, so it won't be a surprise if he doesn't get his name called if a save opportunity arises.

Williams picked up his first save of the year Saturday against the Cubs, striking out one and allowing two hits in a scoreless ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't the cleanest of innings for Williams in his first outing of the year, but he got the job done. After allowing a pair of singles to start the inning (one of which deflected off him), he got Cody Bellinger to ground into a double play before striking out Miles Mastrobuoni to end the game. Williams is expected to serve as the closer full-time this season, relying on his "Airbender" changeup to deceive hitters in high-leverage moments.

Williams tossed a scoreless inning of relief in Monday's spring game.
EDGE Analysis
After a stellar WBC showing in which he allowed just two runners to reach base over 3.1 innings, Williams rejoined the Brewers and made two appearances over the past four days. He will open the regular season as the Brewers' closer and will attempt to build on a 2022 campaign that he finished with a 1.93 ERA, 1.01 WHIP and 96:30 K:BB over 60.2 innings.
