Gordon went 3-for-6 with a triple, a run scored, two RBI and a stolen base in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the A's.
EDGE Analysis
With trade rumors beginning to circle every Marlins player who doesn't have a $325 million contract, Gordon's recent surge can't hurt his value on the open market as the second baseman is slashing .357/.419/.464 over his last seven games.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
He's now put together three straight multi-hit games, giving Gordon a .333/.400/.370 slash line over the last week that's been boosted by three HBPs. Despite the impressive OBP he's only scored three runs during that stretch, however, as the Marlins bats behind him have remained mostly silent.

Gordon will play second base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Gordon had served as the Marlins' No. 9 hitter in the previous four contests, going 3-for-14 with two stolen bases during that span. While the demotion in the order didn't appear to ignite Gordon as a hitter, manager Don Mattingly evidently determined the Marlins missed Gordon's speed at the top of the lineup. Derek Dietrich, who had recorded hits in each of his three starts in the leadoff spot, will move down to No. 6 in the order to accommodate Gordon's move upward.

Gordon went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, a run scored and two stolen bases in Wednesday's loss to the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Hitting ninth in the order behind the pitcher doesn't seem to have slowed Gordon down on the basepaths, and he now has 11 steals on the season in 13 attempts. Expect to see him back in the leadoff spot soon enough as Marlins manager Don Mattingly continues to tinker with his struggling lineup.

Gordon will bat ninth Tuesday against the Cardinals, Craig Davis of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Marlins have dropped 10 of their last 13 and manager Don Mattingly has responded by dropping Gordon to the opposite end of the batting order, although it remains to be seen if this will be the new norm for Miami. Following an 0-for-3 showing Monday, Gordon now sits with a .262 average and .316 on-base percentage through 136 plate appearances this season. Tuesday marks Gordon's first start outside of the leadoff spot since he was traded to the Marlins.

Gordon went 2-for-4 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
The steal was his eighth in 26 games, and Gordon's .294/.336/.367 slash line is right in line with his career numbers. The 29-year-old has shaken off last year's second-half struggles and is reclaiming his spot as one of the NL's top leadoff men.

Gordon went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double, three stolen bases and a run scored in Monday's loss to the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
He nearly single-handedly produced the Marlins' first run of the game in the bottom of the first inning, drawing a free pass, stealing second and then going to third when Derek Norris threw the ball into center field, and trotting home on a Christian Yelich sac fly. Gordon's now slashing .297/.330/.376 through 24 games with 16 runs and seven steals on eight attempts.

EDGE Analysis
It will be the veteran's first off day this season, as Derek Dietrich makes the start at the cornerstone. Gordon is hitting a sharp .281 at the plate, notching 13 runs scored, and leading the team with four stolen bases. He will look to build on his four-game hitting streak upon his return to the lineup.

Gordon went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's win over the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
A week ago, Gordon was barely hitting over the Mendoza Line, but after piling up four three-hit performances in his last six games he now sits with a .333 (18-for-55) batting average, He's also scored eight runs through 12 games, and with Marcell Ozuna and J.T. Realmuto showing signs of putting together breakout seasons behind him in the batting order, Gordon could be well on his way to his first 100-run campaign.
