Dahl isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Giants, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dahl notched just one hit during Colorado's last series against the Diamondbacks over the weekend, so he'll get a day off to regroup. Raimel Tapia will start in left field and hit sixth with Dahl on the bench.

Dahl went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double, two runs and three RBI in Colorado's 11-6 win over the Brewers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a big day at the plate for the 25-year-old, who tagged Freddy Peralta for his fourth homer of the season with a two-run shot in the fourth inning. He missed time in April with an oblique injury, but Dahl has looked the part of the breakout candidate he was tabbed to be heading into the season so far, as this three-hit day has his slash line up to .333/.372/.586 through 87 at-bats.

Dahl (abdomen) was activated from the 10-day injured list Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Dahl apparently looked good during an extended spring training game earlier in the week, clearing the way for him to rejoin the big club after a minimum stay on the injured list with an abdomen injury. The 25-year-old, who owns a .343/.385/.629 slash line with two homers through 10 games this season, should immediately reclaim his role as the team's primary left fielder. Yonathan Daza was returned to the minors in a corresponding move.

Dahl (abdomen) has returned to Denver and could be activated off the injured list for Thursday's game against the Phillies, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dahl tested things out in extended spring training games Tuesday and apparently showed enough for him to rejoin the team in Denver. The 25-year-old will be evaluated again Thursday and if all goes well should reenter the lineup versus the Phillies.

Dahl (abdomen) began playing in extended spring training games Tuesday, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dahl was placed on the 10-day injured list April 8 with what the team described as a "slight" abdomen injury, so his quick return to game action isn't overly surprising. The team has yet to announce its plans, but 25-year-old won't necessarily require a minor-league rehab stint given the short layoff, so he could seemingly be activated shortly after the 10-day minimum on Thursday.

Dahl (abdomen) doesn't expect to be on the injured list for more than the minimum 10 days, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies' described Dahl's core injury as "slight," and he seems to agree, saying that he thinks he could play again in just five days. The team didn't want to be a man down for that long, however, so they'll get him a bit of extra rest, possibly with his lengthy injury history in mind.

Dahl (abdomen) was placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies will elect to give Dahl at least 10 days off despite describing his core injury as "slight" on Monday. He'll be eligible to return April 18, though the team has yet to give a specific timeline for his return. Yonathan Daza was called up from Triple-A Albuquerque in a corresponding move. He'll likely fill a bench role, with Raimel Tapia starting in left field in Dahl's place.

Manager Bud Black said Tuesday that Dahl (abdomen) will likely require a stint on the 10-day injured list, Jim Duquette of Sirius XM Radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rockies labeled Dahl as day-to-day after he exited Sunday's game against the Dodgers with what was described as a "slight" core injury in the lower-abdominal/oblique area, but it now sounds like the team plans to hold him out at least through the middle of next week. Given that oblique injuries can often linger, it probably makes sense for the Rockies to give Dahl some time to heal up rather than having him play through the issue at less than 100 percent. Black expressed optimism that Dahl will be sidelined for the minimum amount of time, but the Rockies probably won't hone in on a target return date for the outfielder until he resumes swinging again without discomfort. Expect the team to officially place Dahl on the IL prior to Tuesday's game against the Braves. Raimel Tapia should see the bulk of the action in left field while Dahl is out.
