It continued a scorching August for the 29-year-old, who has seven homers, 20 RBI and 12 runs scored over 19 games this month. Varsho went 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, three RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 5-2 win over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho opened the scoring with an RBI double in the first inning before adding a two-run shot in the sixth. The 29-year-old has been swinging it well in August, batting .288 with nine extra-base hits and 17 RBI through 17 games. For the season, he's slashing .236/.294/.597 with 14 homers, 37 RBI, 25 runs scored and a stolen base across just 160 plate appearances.

Varsho went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double, a two-run home run and two additional runs scored in Saturday's 14-2 win over the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The center fielder took Jon Gray deep in the fifth inning, one of four Toronto long balls on the afternoon. Varsho continues to supply impressive power, homering five times in 12 games since returning from the IL at the beginning of August, and on the season he's slashing .248/.306/.620 with 13 home runs and 34 RBI in only 36 contests.

Varsho is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
The left-handed-hitting Varsho had started in each of Toronto's last five games -- including two matchups with left-handed pitchers -- but he'll head to the bench Thursday while southpaw Matthew Boyd takes the hill for the Cubs in the matinee contest. Myles Straw will replace Varsho in center field and will bat seventh.

Varsho went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho clubbed his 12th big fly through just 120 at-bats for the year, as he's been a force in the power department when healthy in 2025. While the outfielder is batting just .242 this season, he's slugging .608 and has driven in 31 runs over only 32 outings. As long as Varsho sticks in the heart of Toronto's order, he's certainly worth a look for rosters in need of pop in deeper fantasy settings.

Varsho went 3-for-4 in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho has swung a hot bat during the Blue Jays' road trip, going 8-for-14 with three home runs and 10 RBI over his last three games. While most of his recent damage has come against the Rockies, it's encouraging to see the outfielder find some momentum at the plate. He's batting .241 with 11 home runs, 30 RBI, 17 runs scored and one stolen base through 121 plate appearances this season.

Varsho is not in the lineup for Wednesday's contest in Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho has gone 5-for-10 with three home runs in the first two games of the series, but since he just returned from the injured list a few days ago, the Blue Jays don't want to overextend him. Myles Straw will get a turn in center field and will bat ninth Wednesday.

Varsho went 3-for-5 with a double, two homers and six RBI in Tuesday's victory over Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho built on his four-RBI effort Monday with a massive six-RBI showing Tuesday, fueled by two home runs. Injuries -- most recently a hamstring strain -- have disrupted his 2025 campaign, but when healthy, the center fielder has flashed serious power, posting a .602 slugging percentage across 28 games. If he can use this explosive series in Colorado as a springboard, it would be a huge boost for a Toronto team that's quickly emerging as a legitimate contender.

Varsho went 2-for-5 with a home run and four RBI in a 15-1 romp over the Rockies on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho had the biggest hit in a seven-run third inning for the Blue Jays, crushing a 451-foot, three-run homer. He added a run-scoring single in the seventh before being given the final two frames off as Toronto built an insurmountable lead. Varsho had gone 0-for-6 with four strikeouts in his first two games back from the injured list, but a trip to Colorado may be just what he needed to get his bat back on track.

Varsho isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Varsho went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts Friday in his return from the injured list, and the Jays will sit him down Saturday in an effort to ease him back into MLB action. Myles Straw will pick up a start in center field and bat seventh.
