Atlanta Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson (hand) left the game early on Tuesday with left hand soreness. Swanson was hitless in his only plate appearance before leaving with his injury. It's likely to be a day-to-day situation, but the Braves could choose to be extra cautious in order to have Swanson fully healthy for the postseason. The shortstop has hit .238/.304/.395 with 14 homers, 59 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season. He may not play much to close out the week.

Atlanta Braves infielder Dansby Swanson (head) is being listed as day-to-day after being hit in the back of the head by a pitch on Tuesday. It looks like Swanson passed the concussion protocol after being hit, which is a great sign. There's a chance he could be right back in the lineup on Wednesday.
