The rookie has recorded hits in all six of his starts, including doubles in each of his past three appearances. Jansen demonstrated excellent contact and on-base skills during his time in the minors and projects to continue delivering a stable batting average for the Blue Jays, making him someone worth rostering in just about every fantasy format that starts two catchers.

Though he has infrequently encountered pitchers of Beeks' high caliber this season, the 23-year-old catcher has nonetheless impressed in his second taste of the International League, just as he did in 2017 following a late callup from Double-A New Hampshire. Through 107 plate appearances on the campaign, Jansen is slashing .311/.406/.478 with 10 extra-base hits and a 3-for-3 success rate on stolen-base attempts.

Jansen still needs further time in the minors to hone his receiving skills, but once he reaches the big leagues, he could offer above-average offense relative to most backstops.
