Danny Jansen Smacks Two Home Runs On Thursday rotoballer.com Thu 7/4/19 11:48 PM

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was 3-for-4 with two solo home runs and three runs scored during an 8-7 loss to the Boston Red Sox on Thursday. The 24-year-old has been on a monstrous tear as of late, slashing a ridiculous .462/.481/1.231 with six HRs and 10 RBI over his past seven games. Jansen had a dismal start to the season after garnering fantasy hype throughout training camp. He is now showing the potential that made him an enticing option on draft day. Fantasy managers that are de[...]

Danny Jansen Records Three Hits, Home Run Against Yankees rotoballer.com Thu 6/27/19 9:24 AM

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was 3-for-3 with a two-run home run during Wednesday's 8-7 loss to the New York Yankees. Jansen has been a wholly underwhelming fantasy asset this season, slashing .184/.269/.274 with three HRs and 18 RBI. At this point, Jansen is only viable in two-catcher formats or the deepest of leagues. While he will likely improve his production in the second half of the year, he is tough to trust at this point.

As we near the season's halfway point you may have already found a dependable catcher that you roll with week-in and week-out, but as we know, backstops are the most volatile position in fantasy baseball. [...]

Danny Jansen Carrying .304 Average Over Last Seven Games rotoballer.com Fri 6/14/19 9:41 AM

Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen was 3-for-5 with three runs scored and two RBI during Thursday's 12-3 win over the Baltimore Orioles. It is encouraging to see signs of life from the 24-year-old, as he struggled mightily to start the year. Jansen owns a .184/.269/.263 slash line with two home runs and 14 RBI this season. He still deserves to be on the waiver wire, unless it is a two-catcher league, but he is somebody to keep an eye on for the next week.
