Giants optioned RHP Dan Otero to Triple-A Fresno. Otero was just recalled Tuesday and didn't appear in either of the team's two games. He'll likely be back next month when the rosters expand.

Giants recalled RHP Dan Otero from Triple-A Fresno. Otero held an ugly 8.64 ERA and 1.92 WHIP over seven appearances earlier this season with the Giants but has had a nice year at Fresno, putting up a 2.83 ERA and 1.24 WHIP. He'll work the middle innings.
