Pache, who was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on June 30, has forged a .333 average and 1.015 OPS across the 48 plate appearances he's logged in his first 10 games with the Aviators.
EDGE Analysis
That sample includes six doubles, two home runs, nine RBI and five walks, along with an acceptable 20.8 percent strikeout rate. Pache's body of work thus far in the minors is in stark contrast to the abysmal .159/.203/.224 slash line he produced with the Athletics across 68 games, but the caveat of the hitter-friendly environment of the Pacific Coast League does apply when evaluating his strong numbers thus far.

Pache was optioned to Triple-A Las Vegas on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Pache's playing time declined over the last several weeks, and he went just 2-for-18 with a double, a run, an RBI and six strikeouts over his last seven games. Skye Bolt (hamstring) was reinstated from the 60-day injured list and is starting in center field Thursday against the Mariners.

Pache went 2-for-4 with an RBI single, a double and a run in a win over the Royals on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Pache made good use of his fourth start in the previous seven days, churning out his second multi-hit effort in that span. The 23-year-old continues to be much more valued for his defensive prowess, however, as he's still slashing just .167/.212/.234 across 205 plate appearances.

Pache will start in center field and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Royals, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Though he's included in the starting nine for the series finale, Pache looks like he may be moving into more of a fourth-outfielder role for Oakland. He started just once in the Athletics' previous four games while second baseman Tony Kemp has picked up more reps in left field to clear a spot in the infield for rookie Nick Allen, who has swung a hot bat of late and appears to have temporarily claimed a near-everyday role.

Pache isn't starting Saturday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Pache went 2-for-9 with a double and five strikeouts over his last four matchups and will be out of the lineup for the third time in the last four games. Tony Kemp, Ramon Laureano and Seth Brown are starting in the outfield from left to right.

Pache will sit Friday against the Royals, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pache finds himself on the bench for the second time in three games. While the Athletics seemingly remain committed to having him continue to develop in the big leagues, he hasn't shown much evidence of that development thus far, hitting a miserable .160/.207/.225 on the year. Ramon Laureano slides to center field in his absence, with Seth Brown in right.

EDGE Analysis
Pache started in the last two games and went 2-for-5 with a double and two strikeouts. Ramon Laureano is shifting to center field while Chad Pinder starts in right.

Pache will start in center field and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Royals, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
After starting in two of the Athletics' previous three games when the team opposed left-handed pitchers, Pache will stick in the lineup Sunday with Kansas City bringing a right-hander (Brady Singer) to the hill. Pache and Luis Barrera look set to battle for one spot in Oakland's regular lineup versus right-handed pitching, as Ramon Laureano and Seth Brown appear locked in as the Athletics' other two primary outfielders.

Pache will sit Tuesday against Boston, Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pache finds himself on the bench for the fourth time in the last six games. He's been nowhere close to good enough at the plate this season, hitting .162/.208/.225, so it's unsurprising to see his playing time slip. Ramon Laureano will again slide to center field as Chad Pinder starts in right.
