Crisp received injections Tuesday to relieve pressure in his neck, John Hickey of the Bay Area News Group reports.
Crisp strained his neck after crashing into the outfield wall last Friday, the second time this season he has done so. The neck issues have been recurring for Crisp since he suffered his initial strain in May, but he's hoping the injections will allow him to return this weekend. Craig Gentry and Sam Fuld figure to share time in center in the interim.

Crisp (neck) remains out of the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
This is hardly a surprise, as manager Bob Melvin said Sunday that Crisp would require a few more days to heal up after suffering another neck strain Friday night. Perhaps the team will hold Crisp out through Thursday's off day, but a DL stint likely isn't on the table with active rosters now at 40 players.

Manager Bob Melvin acknowledged Crisp (neck) will likely miss a few more days, MLB.com's Jane Lee reports.
Crisp will be evaluated more closely on Monday, when the Athletics return to Oakland. He could require an injection to reduce the pain in his neck, which would more than likely keep him out for the entirety of the team's three-game series with the Mariners that begins Monday.

Crisp (neck) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The perpetually-banged up Crisp hurt himself again Friday night, when he crashed into a wall while attempting to make a catch. The outfielder will miss his second straight game due to the strained neck, putting his availability in question heading into the upcoming week. Don't be surprised if the Athletics give him a few more days to rest, especially with ample depth available in center field in the form of Sam Fuld and Craig Gentry.

Crisp (neck) is out of the lineup Saturday at the Angels, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

In the meantime, he's recorded a .206 average (13-for-63), two homers, nine RBI, seven runs, and an 2:5 BB:K. He'll hand over center field to Craig Gentry, who is batting ninth in the order.

Crisp's departure from Friday night's game was caused by a strained neck, Joe Stiglich of CSN Bay Area reports.
The A's are listing Crisp as day-to-day, but consider him questionable at best for Saturday's game since he was sidelined earlier this season by the same injury.

Crisp was removed from Friday's game against the Angels after crashing into the outfield wall while attempting to make a catch, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chroncile reports.
The collision with the wall was a violent one, but Crisp was able to walk off the field under his own power. While the specific nature of Crisp's injury is unclear, he previously missed time this season with a neck injury. Craig Gentry took over in center field Friday night.

Crisp went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and one RBI on Friday against the Angels, as he hit his eighth home run of the season.
With the two hits that Crisp picked up on Friday, that now gives him six total hits over his last four games played. Crisp (.258/.353/.405) has certainly slowed his roll over the season, but his ability overall keeps him at the top of the lineup.
