NL-Only Waiver Wire Team of the Week: MLB Week 23 rotoballer.com Tue 9/4/18 4:15 AM
Every week in baseball, a significant player will hit the disabled list, slip into a slump, or get traded out of a good spot. How fantasy owners adapt to these situations can make or break the season as a whole. One lousy add might not hurt the long-term standing of a team, but failing to take advantage of breakouts or impact bats before others sure can.
The primary challenge of playing in an NL or AL-only league is often the lack of options regarding adding and subtracting players when neede[...]
Ketel Marte (2B/SS, ARI) - Week 21 Waiver Wire Pickups rotoballer.com Sun 8/19/18 5:55 AM
BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 19% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Arizona Diamondbacks utility player Ketel Marte is in an awkward spot for playing time, something that could hurt his fantasy value. Arizona's acquisition of Eduardo Escobar could end up cutting into Marte's playing time when Jake Lamb heals up from his recent injury. Chris Owings is also hitting well, making it even tougher for Marte. If he keeps swinging the bat like he has been, though, getting at-bats will not [...]
Chris Owings Optioned, Andrew Chafin Activated rotoballer.com Fri 8/3/18 1:30 PM
Arizona Diamondbacks infielder/outfielder Chris Owings has been optioned to Triple-A Reno on Friday. Owings is hitting .198/.267/.287 this season and has continued to struggle throughout the 2018 season. Relief pitcher Andrew Chafin has been activated off paternity leave on Friday. He's been solid out of the bullpen for Arizona, but does not hold much fantasy value. Owings should be dropped in most fantasy leagues at this point.

Chris Owings Breaks Out In Diamondbacks Victory rotoballer.com Tue 5/29/18 9:21 AM
Arizona Diamondbacks utility man Chris Owings came alive Monday, going 1-for-3 with a walk, a home run, three RBI and three runs scored in the D'Backs 12-5 win over the Reds. Owings plated the three runs on the three-run shot he hit in the fifth inning. This was his first hit since May 19 and first RBI since May 8. With A.J. Pollock on the disabled list, Owings will continue to get steady playing time, but his performance so far hasn't warranted ownership in most leagues.
Chris Owings Available Off of Bench on Friday rotoballer.com Fri 4/20/18 2:36 PM
After being involved in a collision with teammate A.J. Pollock, Arizona Diamondbacks utility man Chris Owings passed his concussion test and is available off the bench on Friday. Owings has been solid to start the year, hitting .269 with a home run, six RBI and a stolen base. He's reportedly fine following the collision and could be used if needed on Friday. Since he's not starting, it's best you keep him on your bench.
