Flexen gave up a pair of runs in the first inning before the Twins broke out with a six-run second. He failed to complete at least three innings for the first time since June 14. Flexen struggled throughout the contest, allowing multiple baserunners in four of the five frames in which he took the mound while throwing just nine of his 23 first pitches for strikes.
