Roe gave up an earned run on a solo home run over an inning in Thursday's 9-6 win over the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Roe allowed a 396-foot shot to Aaron Hicks in the ninth, the first earned run he's allowed in a Rays uniform. The 30-year-old right-hander had allowed just two other hits over 6.2 innings across seven September appearances prior to Thursday's outing, making a strong case to potentially compete for a bullpen role next spring.

Roe was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Roe was acquired from the Braves in a trade back in July. While he has yet to make an appearance for the Rays, he compiled a respectable 3.00 ERA and 35:5 K:BB through 21 innings with Durham. He'll likely pitch in low-leverage situations down the stretch for Tampa Bay.

Roe was optioned to Triple-A Durham on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rays acquired Roe from the Braves earlier Tuesday and added him to the 40-man roster, but the well-traveled right-hander will have to prove his worth in the minors before getting another look in the big leagues. Atlanta designated Roe for assignment earlier this month after he was charged with two earned runs on three hits and two walks over two innings in his three appearances with the Braves.

Roe was traded to the Rays on Tuesday, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He was recently outrighted off the Braves' 40-man roster, and while the return has not been announced, the Rays will likely provide cash or a player to be named later. Roe, 30, has a career 4.16 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 104:49 K:BB in 97.1 innings as a big-league reliever. He was somewhat productive in 2016, posting a 3.64 ERA and 29.8 percent strikeout rate across stops with the Orioles and the Braves.

The Braves activated Roe from the 60-day disabled list and outrighted him to Triple-A Gwinnett on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander owns a career 4.16 ERA in 93 relief appearances and allowed two runs in three appearances this year. Roe will now wait until he's needed at the big-level level.

Roe (back) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The Braves acquired Enrique Burgos from the Diamondbacks, which meant they needed to clear a spot on the 40-man roster Saturday. With Roe still a few weeks away from returning, he was a logical choice to be moved over to the 60-day disabled list. Roe will be eligible to return in mid-June if he continues to make progress in his rehab.

Roe (back) had tests for a blood clot come back negative but will still miss roughly three more weeks, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although the long-term news for Roe is positive, he still needs to build up his strength and go on a rehab assignment before he can make a return to the big leagues. As such, it will likely be early-to-mid June before we see him back in Atlanta's bullpen.

Roe (back) will not throw for another week after experiencing a setback in his rehab program, David O'Brien of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
Roe has been out since early April, and it seems like he's still not very close to returning. More details about his progress should come forth once he resumes throwing, but this likely pushes his return date later in the month.

Roe was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a right lat strain, Kevin McAlpin of the Braves Radio Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's unclear when the injury cropped up, but it appears to be serious enough to warrant keeping him out for a little over a week. This situation should clear up as Roe works his way back to action, although in the meantime, Jason Hursh will fill his spot in Atlanta's bullpen.

Roe is the most likely candidate to win the final spot in the Braves' Opening Day bullpen, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Roe has been competing all spring for a spot in Atlanta's bullpen, and it appears he still has a very good chance of landing it. The 30-year-old right-hander spent most of 2016 with Atlanta after coming over midseason from Baltimore, posting a 3.64 ERA in 29.2 innings pitched combined for both teams. If Roe ends up losing out on the roster spot, fellow right-hander David Hernandez could very possibility be the recipient.
