Chase Anderson 2019 Outlook: Further To Fall rotoballer.com Fri 1/18/19 4:55 PM

Fantasy owners who scooped up Milwaukee Brewers starter Chase Anderson in 2017 enjoyed a ride to 12 wins and a crisp 2.74 ERA and 1.09 WHIP. Heading into 2018 drafts, Anderson peddlers conveniently omitted the alarming flukiness of his breakout campaign (4.33 xFIP, .265 BABIP). Any owners duped into Anderson were left with a sour taste. While his 3.93 ERA in 2018 wasnt horrible, Andersons K/9 dipped from 8.5 to 7.3, and a spike in walks resulted in a corresponding WHIP increase to 1.19. [...]

Chase Anderson Won't Start Monday rotoballer.com Sun 9/23/18 5:38 PM

Milwaukee Brewers manager Craig Counsell said starting pitcher Chase Anderson won't make the start against the Cardinals in a big game on Monday. Instead, the team will go with a bullpen game, and Anderson will be available to pitch. Anderson has a 3.06 ERA in four starts this month but has failed to go beyond five innings. With this game and series being huge for playoff implications, the Brewers will piece things together. Anderson may not see another start over the final week of the season.

Chase Anderson Takes Loss Tuesday Versus Cincinnati rotoballer.com Wed 9/19/18 5:01 AM

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Chase Anderson suffered a subpar outing at an inopportune time Tuesday versus the Reds. He would last 3 2/3 innings allowing three runs which left him with the loss when the Brewers only scored one run. Despite shutting down the Cubs in a short outing last time, he had allowed several hard-hit balls which perhaps foreshadowed what happened Tuesday. Anderson is a volatile fantasy option but his 3.93 ERA shows he has had some strong outings. His unpredictability[...]
