McCormick, who is not on the 40-man roster, is a 25-year-old outfielder that reached Triple-A Round Rock in 2019. He combined for 16 home runs, 66 RBI and an .818 OPS over 448 plate appearances for Round Rock and Double-A Corpus Christi. There are six outfielders in the team's player pool that are already on the 40-man, so McCormick is a longshot to make an impact in 2020.
