Blackmon (back) isn't in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Blackmon has missed the last two contests due to back spasms, though he'll test his back prior to Tuesday's contest by taking part in batting practice, per Thomas Harding of MLB.com. If he resonds well to BP, he may be available to hit off the bench. Raimel Tapia will man right field and bat seventh with Blackmon out of the mix.

Blackmon's absence from the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers is due to back spasms, Patrick Saunders of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury explains why Blackmon is sitting for the second straight game, though it apparently can't explain his absence from Sunday's contest, as the issue popped up during a postgame workout that day. The Rockies are optimistic that he can avoid the injured list. Ramiel Tapia starts in his place Monday and would be in line for an extended run of starts if that optimism proves incorrect.

Blackmon is not in the lineup Monday against the Dodgers, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blackmon is out of the starting lineup for the second time in as many days; the outfielder could be dealing with an unreported minor injury, as he hasn't sat for consecutive games while healthy at any prior point this season. He did enter Sunday's game in the eighth inning as a substitute, going hitless in his only trip to the plate. Raimel Tapia is starting in right field and hitting seventh in place of Blackmon in this one.

Blackmon is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at Cincinnati, Kyle Newman of The Denver Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blackmon started the last seven contests -- including both games of Wednesday's twin bill -- so he'll head to the bench for the series finale. The veteran outfielder has a .414 average with four doubles and one home run in that stretch. Ian Desmond, Garrett Hampson and David Dahl comprise the Rockies' starting outfield Sunday.

Blackmon went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and two runs scored Friday against Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Blackmon doubled home a run in the fourth inning, and he tacked on an insurance run in the ninth with a single to center. The 33-year-old is riding a modest seven-game hitting streak, registering three RBI over that span.

Blackmon went 4-for-5 with a solo home run and three runs in an 8-4 victory against the Yankees on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old led off the game with a solo shot, which was clearly an indication of things to come. This was Blackmon's first four-hit game since June 15, while June 30 was the last time he went deep prior to Sunday. Blackmon is batting .319 with a .602 slugging percentage, 21 home runs, 60 RBI, 74 runs and two steals in 354 at-bats this season.

Blackmon is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Reds, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Blackmon went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs Saturday to bust out of a four-game slump, but he'll take a seat for the series finale. Raimel Tapia, Ian Desmond and David Dahl will start in the outfield from left to right Sunday.

Blackmon went 2-for-5 with an RBI and two runs Saturday in the Rockies' 17-9 loss to the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
After reaching base just once in 15 plate appearances over his previous four games, Blackmon was able to get back on track in a classic Coors Field affair in which the two teams combined for 39 hits. The running game isn't a major part of Blackmon's skill set at this point, but his stellar batting average (.327), solid pop (20 home runs, 48 extra-base hits) and regular role as the Rockies' leadoff man still makes him a fantasy star.

Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, a walk and two runs scored Sunday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Blackmon plated a run in the fifth inning on an infield single, and he clubbed a solo homer to right center in the bottom of the ninth in a 10-5 loss. The 32-year-old has now hit safely in eight of his last 11 contests, slugging four homers while driving in nine runs over that span. He'll aim to stay hot at the dish with five games remaining before the All-Star break.

Blackmon went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
He took Clayton Kershaw deep in the third inning, his ninth homer in 21 games in June and 19th on the year. Blackmon's huge month has pushed his slash line up to .334/.380/.645, and the only disappointment in his 2019 numbers so far has been that the 32-year-old no longer seems like any kind of five-category threat -- he's gone just 2-for-4 on the basepaths this season.
