Correa (teeth) reported to spring training Friday but will not resume baseball activity for a couple of days, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The star shortstop's arrival to Astros camp was delayed after he had to have his wisdom teeth removed Thursday. Fortunately, it appears Correa will only need a few days to recover before resuming full baseball activity. More updates on Correa will follow once he's ready to return, which will likely come early next week.

Correa (teeth) might be limited for the first few days of Astros spring workouts after having his wisdom teeth removed Thursday according to manager A.J. Hinch, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The club still expects him to report on Friday, before the team starts full-squad workouts Saturday. After a brief rest, the elite fantasy shortstop should be ready to go for normal preseason prep.

Correa (shoulder) is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Angels, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
An ill-fated diving attempt at shortstop Friday resulted in an injury to Correa's left shoulder, the same one that cost him time earlier this month, but the 22-year-old won't even miss a start. Correa has posted just a .677 OPS this month but his second-half line still sits at .290/.371/.451.

Correa prematurely exited Friday's game against the Angels with an injury to his left shoulder, Jerry Crasnick of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Correa suffered the injury while diving for a ball in the field. Worse yet, it's the same shoulder that caused him to miss four games earlier in the month with inflammation. If he's forced to miss further time, Marwin Gonzalez or Colin Moran may fill in at short.

Correa went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Correa plated Houston's second run with his seventh-inning blast off Ariel Miranda. The home run was the first of the month for Correa, who also notched his first multi-hit game of September. The 21-year-old phenom has now cleared 20 home runs in each of his first two seasons, although it took him 141 games this year compared to 92 last year. Despite the reduced power production, he's still one of the better fantasy options at shortstop with 92 RBI, 13 steals and a .272/.361/.458 slash line.

Correa will be in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
Correa was limited to just one at-bat Sunday as he took the field for the first time since Tuesday, but it appears his removal had more to do with the lopsided score at the time he was taken out -- 9-0 in favor of the Cubs -- than the health of his shoulder. The Astros have not yet released their lineup for Monday's contest, but Correa figures to start at shortstop and hit cleanup as he has done regularly the last several months.

Correa (shoulder) in the lineup at shortstop and hitting in the cleanup spot Sunday against the Cubs, MLB.com's Brian McTaggart reports.
EDGE Analysis
Left shoulder inflammation had sidelined Correa for the previous four games, but as manager A.J. Hinch suggested earlier last week, the star shortstop was able to return to action before the series with the Cubs came to a conclusion. The injury had made it difficult for Correa to swing without much pain, but he's apparently made significant progress over the last couple of days. Though Correa may be in line for a day off at some point during the upcoming week, he appears primed to take back an everyday role.

Correa (shoulder) is once again not on the Astros' lineup Saturday for their matchup with the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
While Correa is technically day-to-day, he has been struggling to even take swings since suffering a shoulder injury. He will miss his fourth consecutive game on Saturday. The team was originally optimistic the 21-year-old would be able to return to the lineup at some point for this weekend's series. Alex Bregman will start in his place Saturday.
