Cleveland Indians starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco underwent tests on his elbow and had everything come back negative. Carrasco had to leave Saturday's start after he was hit by a line drive, but it seems he has avoided any serious injury. He was placed on the 10-day disabled list, and it seems he should be ready to return once the swelling goes down. He may not be ready to go on the 10th day of his stint, but he should be back before the end of the month.

He'd gone three straight starts where he'd earned quality starts but only posted one win in those three, so it was more or less justice that he didn't have a great start on Saturday but still earned a win. His ERA rose to 3.98, but the 71 strikeouts in 72 innings will play in all formats.

He'll take his next turn in the rotation against the Seattle Mariners in Cleveland. He's a must-start moving forward.
