Luke Raley Heating Up In Double-A rotoballer.com Mon 8/13/18 9:32 AM

Minnesota Twins outfield prospect Luke Raley has started off on the right foot since joining his new team. Raley came over to the Twins as a part of the trade package for Brian Dozier and was placed in Double-A Chattanooga. In 10 games with his new team, Raley has hit to a slash line of .314/.442/.571 including four total extra base hits. If he continues in this fashion he will probably get a promotion to Triple-A before the year is up. That said, he is not on the fantasy radar at this point, an[...]

Brian Dozier Continues To Mash In Dodgers Uniform rotoballer.com Fri 8/10/18 6:58 AM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-5 win over the Rockies. Dozier took Wade Davis deep in the ninth inning to add some insurance runs to the Dodgers' lead. The 31-year-old has been on fire since joining his new team, posting a .308/.438/.769 slash line in 32 plate appearances. It looks like fantasy owners will be able to sit back and enjoy one of Dozier's second-half breakouts once again.

The Diamondbacks' infield is going to get crowded once Jake Lamb returns from the disabled list after Arizona acquired Eduardo Escobar at the trade deadline. After hitting his 16th homer of the year, the former Gold Glove winner is up to 107 R+BI on the year, despite hitting pri[...]

Week 19 Waiver Wire - Second Base (2B) and Shortstop (SS) rotoballer.com Sun 8/5/18 3:30 AM

The injury bug bit hard and often this week, and while the majority of the major maladies affected other positions, middle infield wasn't spared. Popular waiver add (and featured player in this column last week) Lourdes Gurriel could miss the majority of the games left, and Ian Kinsler only made it a few games into his tenure with the Red Sox before suffering a hamstring strain. Every Sunday until the end of the season, we'll look at the best middle infielders available in at least 50 percent[...]

Brian Dozier Homers In Second Straight Game Thursday rotoballer.com Fri 8/3/18 7:29 AM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier impressed again in his second game with his new team, going 2-for-5 with a double, a three-run home run, and four RBI in Thursday's 21-5 rout of the Brewers. The 31-year-old has now homered in each of his two games with the Dodgers and is hitting .321 in his last seven games. Dozier has been disappointing this season overall but is historically better in the second half. The move to a better lineup coupled with his hot streak and history make him [...]

Brian Dozier To Dodgers - Fantasy Impact rotoballer.com Fri 8/3/18 4:15 AM

Brian Dozier spent the first six-and-a-half years of his career with the Minnesota Twins. There, he became a fan favorite while hitting more than 25 home runs three times and anchoring the second base position next to another Twins hero in first baseman Joe Mauer. All that came to an end though, at the 2018 trade deadline on July 31st, when the Los Angeles Dodgers traded for Dozier. The trade shipped the veteran out west to a different team and a different league. In return for Dozier, the Tw[...]

Brian Dozier Homers In Dodgers Debut Wednesday rotoballer.com Thu 8/2/18 6:54 AM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier wasted no time in contributing to his new team on Wednesday, going 3-for-4 with a single, a double, and a solo home run. The 31-year-old has hit a disappointing .229 this season with 17 HR, 53 RBI, and eight steals. However, he will now finish the season in a better lineup and has historically performed better in the second half, so fantasy owners have reasons to be hopeful that he can pick up the pace for the remainder of the season.

Kevin Gausman To The Braves - Fantasy Implications rotoballer.com Thu 8/2/18 3:25 AM

With so many big-name players changing teams this trade deadline Kevin Gausman may fly under the radar. On the surface, he doesn't look like much, with a 5-8 record and 4.43 ERA, 1.38 WHIP, and 7.55 K/9 in 21 starts with Baltimore this season. However, this move to Atlanta could be exactly what Gausman needs to find success. Gausman was traded from Baltimore along with currently injured reliever Darren O'Day for four minor leaguers. The minor leaguers are pitchers Evan Phillips and Bruce Zimm[...]
