Brian Dozer's Second Half Woes Continue rotoballer.com Sat 9/22/18 11:51 AM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier went 0-for-2 with a walk and a strikeout in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Padres. Dozier has not been able to put together one of his impressive second-half runs this season, hitting just .187 with four home runs, 17 RBI, and four stolen bases since joining the Dodgers in August. The 31-year-old has been a disappointment in fantasy all season, as his 20 HR and 69 RBI are both his lowest totals in his last five seasons. Fantasy players have probably alre[...]

Brian Dozier is Out Again on Monday rotoballer.com Mon 9/17/18 6:47 PM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the Colorado Rockies. Dozier has only started eight games this month, so his playing time has really taken a hit lately. Fantasy owners really can't count on him down the stretch. Kike Hernandez will play second base and bat eighth versus righty Jon Gray. Hernandez does not have a bunch of upside, but could be a cheap sleeper option against Gray who has struggled this season.

The Cut List (Week 25): Time to Let Go? rotoballer.com Sun 9/16/18 8:00 AM

Welcome to Week 25 of the Cut List. This week I'm taking a look at Adam Jones, Carlos, Gonzalez, Odubel Herrera, and Starlin Castro.   All four players should be cut in most standard shallow formats. We're in the thick of the fantasy playoff season and we need to own players who are actually producing results. These four players are not.   Want some waiver wire advice to make up for those necessary cuts? Make sure you check out our waiver wire blog for the best pickup cons[...]

Brian Dozier is Sitting Out Friday rotoballer.com Fri 9/14/18 7:30 PM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Friday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Dozier is hitting .067/.125/.100 with zero home runs and one RBI over the last two weeks. He'll continue to see the bench more often than not if he stays cold at the plate. Kike Hernandez will play second base and bat eighth against righty Jack Flaherty. Hernandez can be avoided for fantasy purposes on Friday.

Brian Dozier is Out on Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 9/11/18 5:45 PM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds. Dozier was able to break his long hitless streak on Monday, but he'll still get the day off on Tuesday. Max Muncy will play second base and bat second against righty Luis Castillo. Muncy should be a solid DFS candidate for Tuesday's contests.

Brian Dozier is Back in the Lineup on Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 9/4/18 4:32 PM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier is back in the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the New York Mets. Dozier was given a rest day on Monday, but is back in the lineup for this contest. Dozier will lead off and play second base versus lefty Jason Vargas on Tuesday. Dozier does not have good career numbers off Vargas, but he really doesn't need him. Vargas has been awful this season, so Dozier is worth using in DFS contests while leading off.

Brian Dozier Will Sit Out on Monday rotoballer.com Mon 9/3/18 2:10 PM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Monday's game against the New York Mets. Dozier is hitless through his last three games, so the Dodgers will give him the night off. Max Muncy will play second base and bat cleanup versus righty Jacob deGrom. It's not a wise decision to pick almost any hitter versus deGrom these days.

Brian Dozier is Out of the Lineup Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 8/21/18 4:22 PM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals. It appears this is just a routine day off for the righty slugger. Chris Taylor will play second base and bat seventh versus righty Daniel Poncedeleon. Taylor has been average with the bat this season and does not have much upside against Poncedeleon who has been solid. DFS players can avoid Taylor for this contest.

Brian Dozier Has First Multi-Hit Game of Week rotoballer.com Sun 8/19/18 8:58 PM

Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier went 3-for-5 against the Mariners on Sunday. Dozier had been in a bit of a slump recently with only one hit in his last 16 at-bats. Along with the three hits, he managed to score two runs and steal his 11th base. The transition to the Dodgers has been a bit rocky for the former all-star, so hopefully, he can right the ship with similarly solid starts in the coming weeks.

Brian Dozier Going For More Tests rotoballer.com Tue 8/14/18 10:32 AM

Los Angeles Dodgers second baseman Brian Dozier left the game early on Monday because of dizziness, and manager Dave Roberts said an EKG test to detect cardiac rhythms showed "abnormalities." Dozier is set to undergo more testing. It's a pretty serious issue that could keep Dozier out for a while, so make plans just in case if you own him. Chris Taylor or Enrique Hernandez are options to fill in at the keystone until Dozier is healthy enough to return. Dozier has hit well since being traded to[...]
