Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier put his team's offense over the top on Wednesday. His two-run home run in the sixth inning proved integral for the Twins' 8-5 victory over the Kansas City Royals. The veteran has now hit bombs in two straight games and the outing increased his hitting streak to seven games. Dozier is now hitting .278 in July. That said, his hitting streak will be put to the test on Thursday against Blake Snell and the Tampa Bay Rays.
