Miami Marlins outfielder Brian Anderson went hitless with a walk in the 4-1 loss to the Cubs on Thursday. Despite reaching base safely in his previous four outings, the 25-year-old has still struggled, striking out in 11 of his 29 plate appearances on the month. He will look to get back on track against Zack Wheeler and the Mets on Friday with Anderson compiling just two hits in 11 at-bats with four strikeouts against the righty this season.
