Moss went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and three runs Saturday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Moss cranked out his 10th bomb of the year as the Royals blew up for 11 runs in a home win. Despite the blast, his .190/.263/.393 slash line hasn't been very useful to fantasy owners.

Moss is not in the lineup Friday against the Twins, 610 Sports Radio KC reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss, who is hitting just .177 (29-for-164) on the season, will take a seat for the third straight game as Jorge Soler once again serves as the designated hitter. Neither has impressed much at the plate this season, so the two will likely continue to see sporadic playing time unless one of them turns it around.

Moss is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Tigers, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss will sit against Tigers lefty Daniel Norris and still looks primed to occupy the larger portion of a platoon at designated hitter, but that could change if Jorge Soler, who was called up from Triple-A Omaha on Wednesday, catches fire in his return to the big leagues. With a career-worst .626 OPS through 180 plate appearances this season, Moss has been a major disappointment after inking a two-year, $12 million deal in January.

Manager Ned Yost hasn't lost faith in Moss (.184/.260/.388), and he's intent on getting the slugger going offensively, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss has been riding the pine quite a bit lately, but that's not necessarily due to his uninspiring play. The Royals have faced a slew of left-handers recently, and Yost insists he wants to get the veteran more involved. Even so, at this point Moss doesn't make much sense to roster outside of AL-only formats.

Moss is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Red Sox, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the second game in a row that Moss will sit out of, although it comes as no surprise that he's absent from the lineup Tuesday given that ace southpaw Chris Sale is taking the hill for Boston. However, his massive struggles may have him riding the pine more frequently if he's unable to prove his worth in a starting role soon. Cheslor Cuthbert will act as the designated hitter in his stead.

Moss is out of the lineup Monday against the Red Sox, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss will hit the bench for the second time in three games after going just 5-for-31 (.161 average) at the plate so far in June. The 33-year-old didn't fare much better in the previous two months of the season, so it might not be long before he's phased out of the lineup on a regular basis.

Moss is not in the lineup Saturday against the Angels, Rustin Dodd of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moss is just 2-for-15 over his last six games and is slashing .182/.247/.392 on the season, so he'll head to the bench to clear his head as Cheslor Cuthbert gets the nod as designated hitter.

Moss is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Giants, Joel Goldberg of Fox Sports Kansas City reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Royals are playing a series in a National League park, so Moss will head to the bench without the designated hitter position open for him. He could also be absent from the lineup until Thursday when the Royals play the Angels unless manager Ned Yost inserts him into the lineup in a corner outfield position or at first base Wednesday.

Moss is out of the lineup Sunday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
With no designated hitter available for the series in San Diego, Moss will find himself on the bench for a third straight game, but should rank as manager Ned Yost's top left-handed pinch-hitting option. The Royals are set to play two games in San Francisco on Tuesday and Wednesday, so we may not see Moss return to the lineup until Kansas City resumes American League play Thursday.

Moss is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Astros, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
With a tough lefty in Dallas Keuchel twirling for the Astros, it's no surprise that Moss will retreat to the bench. Mike Moustakas will get another day out of the field and assume Moss' typical DH spot.
