Lowe is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
With southpaw Chris Sale toeing the rubber for Atlanta, Lowe will head to the bench along with fellow left-handed bats Jonathan Aranda and Kameron Misner. Coco Montes will enter the lineup in Lowe's stead, occupying second base and batting seventh.

Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, a walk, three RBI and two runs in Tuesday's win over the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Lowe buoyed the Rays with a two-run blast in the fourth and added another RBI with a base knock in the eighth. He's enjoyed a productive homestand to open up the 2025 season and is the team leader in hits (seven), RBI (five) and home runs (two) through the first five games of the year.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
The Rays veteran took Ryan Feltner deep in the first inning for his first long ball of the season, slugging it 409 feet to right field. Lowe closed out his opening weekend by going 4-for-13 (.308) at the plate and drawing three consecutive starts, including against the left-handed Kyle Freeland on Opening Day. The 30-year-old entered the season with a career .245/.330/.482 slash line and could be poised for significant power output thanks to the dimensions of George M. Steinbrenner Field, the Rays' current home park.

Lowe is starting at second base and batting third in Friday's opener versus the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Not only is the left-handed hitting Lowe in the lineup against southpaw Kyle Freeland, but he's hitting in the middle of the order. Lowe has been better versus righties (.833 OPS) than lefties (.737 OPS) in his career, but he had an .835 OPS against left-handers in 2024.

Lowe went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's Grapefruit League game against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
The wind aided Lowe, but he managed to take Chris Sale yard in the third inning. The performance was notable because it was a homer off of one of the best left-handed pitchers in the league and because it was his second consecutive game with a long ball. Even on a platoon-heavy team, Lowe projects to be the Rays' everyday second baseman while occupying a premium spot in the lineup.

The Rays exercised Lowe's $10 million club option for 2025 on Friday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
It's possible the Rays will look to trade Lowe as his salary escalates, but picking up the option was a fairly easy call. They also have an $11.5 million club option for 2026. Lowe slashed .244/.311/.473 with 21 home runs over 425 plate appearances for Tampa Bay this season.

Lowe is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's game against Boston, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Lowe will sit for the Rays' regular-season finale as Dylan Carlson serves as the designated hitter and bats seventh. Unless he pinch hits Sunday, Lowe will end the 2024 regular season slashing .244/.311/.473 with 21 home runs and 58 RBI across 425 plate appearances.

Lowe went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Lowe has had an all-or-nothing approach at the plate, as he smacked his fourth homer in his last 13 games Sunday. On the other hand, he also has a 29.2 percent strikeout rate in that span -- including three games with multiple strikeouts. Overall, Lowe has managed to record 20 home runs for the second consecutive season despite appearing in only 102 games.
