Parker was activated off the paternity list Friday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parker landed on the paternity list last week and also took advantage of the All-Star break to attend the birth of his child. The 34-year-old split save chances with Taylor Rogers through the first half of the season and that figures to continue out of the break.

Parker was placed on the paternity list Friday, wBrandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parker will step away from the team for a few days to attend the birth of his child. The 34-year-old can spend up the three days on the paternity list and seems likely to rejoin the team after the All-Star break. Kohl Stewart was recalled from Triple-A Rochester to bolster the Twins' bullpen depth.

Parker picked up his 10th save of the season Saturday against the Royals, striking out two in a scoreless 10th inning.
EDGE Analysis
Parker brought the tying run to the plate after hitting Alex Gordon to open the inning, but two strikeouts and a popout finished the game off without incident. Parker's 10 saves give him a one-save advantage over Taylor Rogers for the team lead, though his 4.10 ERA can't compare with Rogers' 2.12 mark.

Parker isn't expected to be away for the full seven days of his family medical emergency leave, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. "Without getting too far into it, I heard from Blake today," manager Rocco Baldelli said, "and he said everything seemed to be going well, and we should see him back here soon."
EDGE Analysis
Parker was placed on the list Wednesday and must sit out for a minimum of three days. It sounds like he could return Sunday or early next week.

Parker walked two and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday to record his ninth save of the season in a 6-3 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't the cleanest outing, as Parker walked multiple batters for the first time since April 14 -- also, curiously, against Detroit -- but it was still a nice rebound effort after his first blown save of the year Wednesday. The right-hander remains the top ninth-inning option in the Twins' closer committee, posting nine saves so far to Taylor Rogers' six.

Parker (0-2) took the loss Wednesday, giving up three runs on three hits -- including two home runs -- in an inning of relief to blow his first save of the season as the Twins fell 9-7 to Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander is struggling right now, serving up four homers in his last four appearances after allowing only one in his first 17.1 innings on the season. The rough stretch has more than tripled Parker's ERA to 3.74, but it can't be seen as too much of a surprise considering he was tagged for 12 home runs in 66.1 innings with the Angels last year. He'll remain in the closing mix with Minnesota for now, but if he can't keep the ball in the park, the team has plenty of other options it can use in the ninth inning instead.

Parker picked up the save against the Angels on Monday, working around a hit to fire a scoreless ninth inning and close out a 3-1 victory for the Twins. He didn't record a strikeout or a walk.
EDGE Analysis
It was eighth save of the year for the 33-year-old right-hander, who still has yet to blow an opportunity through 16.1 innings. He isn't striking out a lot of batters with a pedestrian 12:7 K:BB, but Parker is making it work so far as the top option at closer for the Twins, as he's sporting a 1.10 ERA and a 0.98 WHIP.

Parker gave up two hits and a walk over 1.1 scoreless innings while striking out one to record his seventh save of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
He very nearly blew his first save of the year instead, but Byron Buxton threw out Shohei Ohtani at the plate to end the eighth inning and erase the tying run. Parker now boasts a 1.20 ERA and 11:7 K:BB through 15 innings, and his lack of dominance suggests his stellar ratios are overdue for some regression.
