New York Mets outfielder Austin Jackson will move up to third in the batting order and play center field versus righty Aaron Nola. Jackson has collected six hits over his last three games, so the Mets will attempt to ride his hot bat. However, Nola has been excellent this season, so Jackson is a risky DFS option even when he's batting in a favorable part of the order.

Free-agent outfielder Austin Jackson has reached an agreement with the New York Mets. There is multiple reports that the deal is going to be a major league deal. The Mets have three outfielders currently sidelined, so Jackson should provide some much needed depth. Jackson is hitting .242/.309/.295 through 59 games this season. He's only worth a look in NL-only leagues.

The San Francisco Giants and Boston Red Sox are interested in free-agent outfielder Austin Jackson. The Giants recently traded Jackson to the Rangers in a salary dump. He'd have a better shot at playing time back in San Francisco, where he hit .242 with ho homers and 13 RBI in 149 at-bats earlier this year. He's well off the fantasy radar right now.

Texas Rangers outfielder Austin Jackson will be put on release waivers on Saturday. A-Jax was recently traded over from the Giants, but he won't even play for the Rangers. He was hitting just .242 with no home runs, 13 RBI and two steals for the Giants in 59 games this season and is well off the fantasy radar. He's unlikely to emerge as a fantasy option for another team this year.
