Dean went 4-for-5 with a double, home run, three runs scored and five RBI in Saturday's 10-3 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Dean was promoted from Triple-A New Orleans on Friday and came up a triple short of the cycle in only his second major-league game of the season. The 25-year-old is making the case to see regular opportunities in right field while Garrett Cooper (calf) remains on the injured list.

Dean was called up from Triple-A New Orleans on Friday, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dean was optioned to New Orleans towards the end of spring training but makes his way back to the majors only a couple weeks into the season. The 25-year-old enjoyed a hot start for the Baby Cakes by slashing .375/.483/.458 through 29 plate appearances. Dean could have some opportunities early on as he takes the roster spot of Peter O'Brien, who started nine games in right field with Garrett Cooper (calf) is on the injured list.

Dean was optioned to Triple-A New Orleans on Thursday, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Dean failed to impress in his first taste of the majors last season, hitting just .221/.279/.363 in 34 games. He could get another chance at some point this season as the Marlins try to find out which of their young players are part of their future.

Dean went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old continues to rack up hits, and Dean now sports a .364/.421/.424 slash line through 15 games. He's also gone 3-for-3 in steal attempts, an interesting development after he went 3-for-5 between the majors and Triple-A New Orleans in all of 2018. His power stroke has been lacking, though -- only two of his 12 hits this spring have gone for extra bases, and both were doubles -- and Dean seems ticketed for a time share in left field with Curtis Granderson to begin the season.

Dean went 1-for-2 with two RBI in Friday's spring game against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
Dean singled in the fifth inning to plate a run and then knocked in another in the seventh on a sacrifice fly to right field. He's slowly starting to get it going at the plate, as he's now 8-for-28 with six RBI, two stolen bases and seven runs scored in spring games.

EDGE Analysis
