Rendon (shin) could return to the Angels' lineup as soon as Friday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon is not in Wednesday's lineup after fouling a ball off his left shin Tuesday. The Halos aren't putting him on the injured list yet, though, because he could be ready after the off day Thursday. Rendon will be evaluated the next two days and if it's determined he does need to go on the IL, he'd be eligible to return the second game after the All-Star break.

Rendon (shin) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Padres, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon had to be lifted from Tuesday's game in San Diego due to a left shin contusion after fouling a ball off his leg. The good news is X-rays came back clean and Rendon is still listed on the Angels' lineup card as a reserve, so it appears he'll avoid the injured list. Eduardo Escobar is playing third base Wednesday.

Rendon was pulled from Tuesday's game against San Diego with a left shin contusion.
EDGE Analysis
X-rays came back negative after Rendon fouled a ball off his left leg. While it appears he avoided serious injury, a stint on the injured list isn't completely out of the question. Eduardo Escobar figures to see an uptick in playing time should Rendon sit out.

Rendon was removed from Tuesday's game against the Padres after fouling a ball off his left knee, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon immediately collapsed to the ground after fouling a ball off his knee and appeared to be in a great deal of pain. He had to be helped off the field by trainers and was replaced by Eduardo Escobar. More information regarding Rendon's injury will be available in the near future, but early signs aren't reassuring.

Rendon went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon had one of just three hits for the Angels, leading to their only run against Ryne Nelson and two Arizona relievers. This was Rendon's second game back from a wrist injury. The third baseman has played in just 10 contests since the start of June, going 3-for-37 with a home run, two RBI and two doubles as he navigates another injury-plagued season. He's slashing just .243/.360/.329 with two homers, 22 RBI, 23 runs scored and two stolen bases through 40 contests on the year.

Rendon went 0-for-3 with a walk and a strikeout in a loss to Arizona on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon was back in the lineup after missing two weeks due to a left wrist contusion. He took a free pass in four plate appearances in his return while slotting into the cleanup spot. Rendon should get ample run-producing opportunities hitting behind Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout, though he's done little offensively aside from drawing walks this season, slashing .243/.363/.309 with one homer, 21 RBI and two steals.

Rendon (wrist) will take on-field batting practice Tuesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon has been eased along in his recovery from a left wrist contusion, which sent him to the 10-day injured list June 19, retroactive to June 16. It's looking like he might be ready for activation in the early part of July, but the Angels have not announced an exact timetable.

Rendon (wrist) was able to play catch on the field prior to Saturday's game versus the Rockies, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Angels manager Phil Nevin told reporters that Rendon's wrist continues to feel better. The infielder was placed on the 10-day injured list June 19 because of a contusion on his left wrist, and it's not known yet if he'll require a rehab stint before rejoining the club. Rendon is eligible to come off the injured list June 26, but fantasy managers will need to wait for updates before assuming he's back with the club at or around that date.

The Angels placed Rendon on the 10-day injured list Monday with a left wrist contusion.
EDGE Analysis
Rendon missed each of the Angels' last three games due to the injury, which he sustained when he was hit by a pitch in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Rangers. The Angels will be able to backdate Rendon's IL stint to Friday, so assuming he shows improvement during the upcoming week, he could be ready for activation when first eligible June 26. Luis Rengifo will likely continue to serve as the main replacement at third base while Rendon is on the mend.
