X-rays taken Thursday on Vaughn's left foot turned up negative for any structural damage, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn missed the final two games of Chicago's three-game set against the Mets after fouling a ball off his left foot Tuesday, but he only has a bruise and is considered day-to-day. The 25-year-old first baseman could be ready to return to action in Friday's series opener at Minnesota.

Vaughn is getting X-rays on his left foot Thursday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports. "We're not anticipating anything wrong, but he was pretty sore," manager Pedro Grifol said.
EDGE Analysis
He took a foul ball off his foot Tuesday and has been held out the last two days as he deals with what the team hopes is a bruise. Gavin Sheets and Zach Remillard could keep getting extra work while Vaughn remains sidelined.

Vaughn (foot) remains out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn fouled a ball off his foot during Tuesday's loss to the Mets and will now miss a second straight start. The White Sox are going with Jake Burger at first base and Zach Remillard at third.

Vaughn is absent from the lineup Wednesday while feeling the after effects of a foul ball off the foot from Tuesday's game, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn didn't have to come out of Tuesday's contest versus the Mets, but he remains sore a day later. It's not a bad time to give the first baseman a day off, anyway, considering his .188/.204/.208 start to July. Gavin Sheets is at first base Wednesday.

Vaughn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
After producing an. 811 OPS in June, Vaughn hasn't kept that momentum going into the current month. He's now slashing just .188/.204/.208 with a 30.6 percent strikeout rate in 12 games so far in July, and he has yet to draw a walk in 49 plate appearances on the month. Vaughn doesn't appear in any real danger of losing hold of an everyday role, but he'll cede his spot in the lineup to Gavin Sheets on Wednesday.

Vaughn is not in the lineup for the first game of Thursday's doubleheader versus the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
It will be Gavin Sheets at first base against right-hander Jose Berrios. Vaughn is a strong bet to be in there for the nightcap versus lefty Yusei Kikuchi.

Vaughn went 3-for-4 with two doubles, three RBI and one run scored in Wednesday's 11-5 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn had gone 13 games without a double, though he had four home runs in that span. The 25-year-old's three-run double in the fourth inning blew things open for the White Sox. Vaughn is up to a .247/.329/.447 slash line with 12 homers, 49 RBI, 37 runs scored, 21 doubles and no stolen bases through 80 contests this season.

Vaughn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Saturday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn extended his hitting streak to five games when he tallied his 12th home run of the campaign in the sixth inning. After struggling to tap into power for the first couple of months of the season, Vaughn now has four homers in his last 13 starts. While that pace certainly won't keep up, he has a career-best .445 slugging percentage and .203 ISO across 318 plate appearances.

Vaughn went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-3 loss to the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn has hit four homers over his last 11 games, going 10-for-43 (.233) in that span. All of those long balls have been solo shots. The 25-year-old hasn't been able to prop up his batting average much (.241), but his .761 OPS is a solid mark. Vaughn's added 11 homers, 44 RBI, 36 runs scored, 19 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases through 74 contests this season. With solid plate discipline (18.4 percent strikeout rate, 8.4 percent walk rate), he's got a decent chance to bounce back a bit over the rest of the season.

Vaughn went 1-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a run scored Tuesday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn has had a quiet month of June, going hitless in eight of 17 games while hitting just .190 across 58 at-bats. He's shown signs of improvement across his last two contests, however, as he slugged his 10th home run of the season Monday and collected an RBI for the second consecutive game Tuesday. Vaughn has a nearly identical line to his 2022 season by maintaining a .430 slugging percentage and .754 OPS across 306 plate appearances.
