Vaughn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Since being called up from Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Vaughn has gotten off to a red-hot start to his time with the Brewers, recording at least one hit in each of his first five games while producing a 1.500 OPS and driving in 10 runs. The Brewers haven't yet committed to Vaughn as a full-time player, however, as Jake Bauers will replace him in the lineup Sunday while Milwaukee looks to keep both players involved at first base in the absence of Rhys Hoskins (thumb).

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI in Saturday's 6-5 win over the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn has hit safely in all five of his games with the Brewers, going 6-for-14 (.429) with four extra-base hits and 10 RBI. The first baseman delivered a pair of two-run doubles Saturday, with the second being a game-tying hit during the Brewers' ninth-inning comeback rally. Vaughn is slashing .206/.239/.362 with seven homers, 29 RBI, 10 doubles, 12 runs scored and no stolen bases over 209 plate appearances this season, though he's taking full advantage of his opportunity to play while Rhys Hoskins (thumb) is on the mend.

Vaughn is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
After getting called up from Triple-A Nashville on Monday, Vaughn started at first base in both of the first two contests of the series with the Dodgers, going 2-for-5 with a home run, two walks, four RBI and two runs. Jake Bauers will get the nod at first base Wednesday, but Vaughn could end up seeing the bulk of the starts at the position while Rhys Hoskins (thumb) is on the shelf until around mid-to-late August.

Vaughn went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Monday's 9-1 win over the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn drew his first start since being acquired by Milwaukee via trade June 13 and made an immediate impact. The 27-year-old first baseman launched a three-run homer off Yoshinobu Yamamoto in the first inning, plating Sal Frelick and William Contreras. While Vaughn's long-term role with the Brewers remains unclear, he should share first base duties with Jake Bauers for the duration of Rhys Hoskins' (thumb) stay on the injured list.

Vaughn will start at first base and bat fifth in Monday's game versus the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The Brewers are throwing Vaughn right into the lineup after he took the roster spot of the injured Rhys Hoskins (thumb). While the Brewers also figure to give Jake Bauers reps at first base while Hoskins is out, it's notable that the right-handed-hitting Vaughn is getting the first shot against Dodgers right Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Vaughn was acquired via trade from the White Sox last month after he slashed .248/.303/.407 in parts of five seasons with the Pale Hose.

The Brewers recalled Vaughn from Triple-A Nashville on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Though he was acquired from the White Sox on June 13, Vaughn had played exclusively at Nashville since the trade but will now get the chance to join Milwaukee after first baseman Rhys Hoskins (thumb) landed on the injured list in a corresponding move. The absence of Hoskins opens up an everyday spot in the lineup, but rather than leaning on the right-handed Vaughn as the primary option at first base, manager Pat Murphy could be inclined to deploy Vaughn in the short side of a platoon with the left-handed-hitting Jake Bauers. Vaughn had been performing effectively for Nashville prior to his call-up, slashing .259/.338/.500 with three home runs and a 10.8 percent walk rate over 65 plate appearances with the affiliate.

Vaughn is expected to be called up from Triple-A Nashville ahead of Monday's series opener with the Dodgers, Francys Romero of BeisbolFR.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn will join the Brewers in Milwaukee on Monday, helping replace Rhys Hoskins (thumb), who is expected to be placed on the 10-day injured list. Vaughn was acquired from the White Sox via trade June 13 and immediately reported to Triple-A. The 27-year-old has produced a .259 average with three home runs, 16 RBI and eight runs scored over 16 games with Nashville. He'll likely split the workload at first base with lefty bat Jake Bauers while Hoskins is on the shelf.

The Brewers have acquired Vaughn from the White Sox on Friday in exchange for right-hander Aaron Civale, Jesse Rogers of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn was demoted to Triple-A Charlotte last month after slashing only .189/.218/.314 with five home runs across 193 plate appearances. The third overall pick in the 2019 First-Year Player Draft has been a disappointment at the big-league level, slashing .248/.303/.407 over parts of five seasons. In MIlwaukee, Vaughn will be behind Rhys Hoskins at first base and Christian Yelich at designated hitter, so he'll likely go to Triple-A Nashville in hopes of finding his swing, but his results at Charlotte thus far (.211/.328/.368 in 67 plate appearances) haven't been pretty. The 27-year-old is making $5.85 million in 2025 and has another year of team control next season.

The White Sox optioned Vaughn to Triple-A Charlotte on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn is the odd man out after the White Sox activated both Andrew Benintendi (calf) and Mike Tauchman (hamstring) from the 10-day IL on Friday. Vaughn has been an MLB regular with the White Sox since 2021, but he's gotten off to a horrible start in 2025, slashing .189/.218/.314 with five home runs, 19 RBI, nine runs scored, zero stolen bases and a 7:43 BB:K across 193 plate appearances. Vaughn will try to find his swing at Triple-A.

Vaughn is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn started the previous 24 contests but will step out of the starting nine after posting a .215/.237/.344 slash line during that stretch. Joshua Palacios is batting third as the designated hitter while Michael Taylor starts in right field Sunday.
