Vaughn (hand) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn is apparently still dealing with some bruising and/or soreness in his right hand after being struck by a pitch in Friday's 5-1 loss to Los Angeles, so he'll remain on the bench for a third straight game in Monday's series finale. White Sox manager Tony La Russa noted Sunday that Vaughn has been able to swing the bat since suffering the injury, so the 24-year-old could be available Monday in a pinch-hitting capacity.

Vaughn (hand) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn will take a seat for the second straight game due to the right hand injury he suffered in Friday's 5-1 loss in the series opener, though he's not dealing with any structural damage after X-rays returned negative. According to James Fegan of The Athletic, manager Tony La Russa said Vaughn's hand is still sore, but the 24-year-old has been able to swing the bat and may be allowed to pinch hit Sunday. Even if Vaughn goes unused off the bench Sunday, he could still rejoin the lineup for Monday's series finale.

Vaughn (hand) isn't starting Saturday against the Angels.

Vaughn's X-rays on his right hand came back negative after he was hit by a pitch Friday, but he'll still be out of the lineup for at least one game. AJ Pollock will shift to left field while Adam Engel starts in right.

Vaughn (hand) underwent X-rays that came back negative Saturday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn was hit on his right hand by a pitch in the ninth inning of Friday's game against the Angels, but he's considered day-to-day after his tests didn't reveal any structural damage. If he's forced to miss any time, Gavin Sheets and Adam Engel are the most likely candidates for increased at-bats.

Vaughn, who was hit on his right hand by a pitch in the ninth inning, will get X-rays, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn, who went 0-for-3 with a strikeout in addition to the HBP, remained in the game, but it is apparently causing enough discomfort that tests are needed. He should be considered day-to-day for now.

Vaughn is starting in left field and batting second Friday against the Angels, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Luis Robert is back in the lineup Friday, manager Tony La Russa said Vaughn has earned the right to stay in the No. 2 spot for now after he hit .286 with two homers, two doubles, six RBI and two runs over the last six games. As long as Vaughn remains effective, he's the favorite to stick in the second spot in the lineup.

Vaughn went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and four RBI Wednesday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn did the majority of his damage on a three-run homer in the seventh inning, his fourth long ball of the season. Four frames earlier he had recorded an RBI double. Vaughn entered the game with at least one hit in three of his last four games, though this was his first multi-knock effort since April 13. Through 52 plate appearances, Vaughn is hitting .298/.365/.617, and he should be locked into near everyday playing time in the absence of Eloy Jimenez (hamstring).

Vaughn went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Friday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn accounted for Chicago's only run of the game when he led off the fifth inning with his third homer of the season. He had swung a cold bat immediately prior to this performance, collecting just three hits with no counting stats across his last five starts and 16 at-bats. Despite the slow stretch, Vaughn is hitting .313/.389/.625 while maintaining an 11.1 percent strikeout rate across 36 total plate appearances.

Vaughn is not in Thursday's lineup against the Guardians, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will head to the bench against righty Zach Plesac. Vaughn's last five starts have come against right-handed pitching, which is encouraging for the young right-handed slugger. On the flip side, he is 3-for-16 with zero home runs and zero walks over that five-game stretch. Eloy Jimenez will start at DH as he works his way back from ankle soreness and Gavin Sheets and Adam Haseley will start in the outfield corners.

Vaughn is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Vaughn is 8-for-23 with two homers, a double, six RBI and three runs through seven games this season, but he won't be in the lineup for Sunday's series finale against Tampa Bay. Gavin Sheets will serve as the designated hitter while Adam Engel starts in right field.
