Nardi picked up his seventh hold of the season Sunday, giving up a hit and striking out a batter to record the final out of the seventh inning.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw has overcome some early season struggles and hasn't walked a batter in 12 straight appearances, posting a 3.72 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 10:0 K:BB through 9.2 innings over that stretch. Nardi's seven holds ties him with Anthony Bender for the team lead, and if closer Tanner Scott gets dealt before the trade deadline, the duo would still represent the top options to step into ninth-inning duty for the Marlins.

Nardi gave up a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Friday while striking out one, but he was charged with his third blown save of the season after allowing an inherited runner to score.
EDGE Analysis
Kyle Tyler began the sixth inning but got the hook after giving up a leadoff single to Jacob Young, and Nardi wasn't able to prevent Young from coming around to score and tie the game at 1-1. Nardi hasn't been tagged with a run of his own in six straight appearances, and while he's struck out 10 batters in 5.1 innings over that stretch, he's also issued three free passes and hit a batter with a pitch. He's whittled his ratios down to a 7.71 ERA and 1.89 WHIP in the process, but the 25-year-old southpaw is still struggling to regain the form he flashed in 2023.

Nardi struck out the side in a perfect eighth inning Sunday to record his third hold of the season in a loss to Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw needed 12 pitches (10 strikes) to knife through the bottom of Atlanta's order, only to see Tanner Scott blow the save in the ninth. Nardi's had a rough start to the season, giving up multiple runs in four of his nine appearances, but his 10:3 K:BB through 7.1 innings is something to build on. Should Scott be removed from the closer role, Nardi is still one of the prime candidates to see save chances in his place despite his horrific 12.27 ERA.

Nardi struck out two in a perfect seventh inning during Sunday's win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw threw eight of 12 pitches for strikes against St. Louis' 5-6-7 hitters, giving Nardi only his second scoreless outing in five appearances to begin the season. Tanner Scott has been very shaky as well, but Nardi hasn't looked like much of a candidate to take over ninth-inning duties if necessary, stumbling to a 16.62 ERA over 4.1 innings. His 6:1 K:BB does offer some hope of a turnaround, however.

Nardi walked one in a scoreless inning of relief during Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The 25-year-old lefty emerged as a reliable bullpen option for the Marlins last year, posting a 2.67 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 73:21 K:BB through 57.1 innings with eight wins, 17 holds and three saves, but Nardi has had trouble finding the plate in camp. He does sport a 0.00 ERA through 4.2 spring innings, but it comes with a 1:5 K:BB, and he threw just seven strikes among his 16 pitches Friday. Nardi's being counted on as the top setup man from the port side for Miami behind southpaw closer Tanner Scott, but both pitchers have dealt with control issues this spring, creating some uncertainty in the team's relief corps ahead of Opening Day.

Nardi recorded his third save of the season in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Mets, walking one and striking out two in a scoreless ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
With Tanner Scott (paternity leave) unavailable, Nardi wound up getting the save chance as A.J. Puk, David Robertson and Matt Moore had already combined to throw 3.2 innings of scoreless relief in the nightcap. Nardi has been scored upon only once in his last 15 appearances, posting a 0.61 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 17:7 K:BB through 14.2 innings since Aug. 19 with two wins and eight holds, but the save was his first since June 18.

Nardi (hand) recorded one out and allowed one run on one hit and two walks while striking out one in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Nardi allowed three of the four batters he faced to reach base, and he was promptly removed with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. The reliever was struck on his left hand by a comebacker at the end of August, but he's appeared in three contests since.

X-rays on Nardi's left hand came back negative after he was forced to leave Wednesday's game against Tampa Bay upon getting hit by a line drive, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw will likely still miss some time after getting hit in his throwing hand, but Nardi and the Marlins seem to have avoided what could've easily been a much-worse outcome. David Robertson and Steven Okert should figure to see an uptick in high-leverage opportunities while Nardi recovers.

Nardi was removed from Wednesday's game against the Rays after getting hit in the left hand by a comebacker, Steve Carney of StPeteNine.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nardi will go in for imaging on his hand, and the Marlins should provide an update on his status in the near future. Until more is known, he should be considered day-to-day.

Nardi (triceps) was activated Tuesday from the 15-day injured list, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Nardi will return to the Marlins' bullpen Tuesday night against the Phillies after missing three weeks with left triceps inflammation. The 24-year-old southpaw has registered a steady 3.19 ERA and 48:11 K:BB through 36.2 major-league innings this season.
