McCutchen went 3-for-7 with a two-run home run and two runs scored Thursday in the Giants' 16-inning victory over the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Cutch left the yard on a first-inning hanging breaking ball from Dan Straily, launching it into the left field stands. He also cleared the fences Wednesday and has done so five times in his past 11 games. In that stretch, he's 18-or-49 (.367) with 12 RBI and 11 runs scored. McCutchen looks like he's firmly curing his early-season power woes.

McCutchen went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and a double in Wednesday's loss to the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen got the Giants on the board early with his homer in the top of the first inning, but they ultimately couldn't make it hold up in the 5-4 defeat. The 31-year-old has notched multi-hit efforts in six of his last seven starts, hitting four doubles, two home runs and six RBI over that span. Though he got off to a slow start over the opening two months, McCutchen is now up to a .262/.351/.447 slash line following his recent outburst.

McCutchen is not in the lineup Sunday against the Nationals, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen will be stationed on the bench in what appears to be a routine day of rest for the red-hot right fielder. McCutchen has notched multi-hit performances in five of his last six starts and is slashing an elite .364/.348/.705 over his past 10 games. Mac Williamson starts in right field Sunday with Hunter Pence manning the other corner-outfield spot.

EDGE Analysis
McCutchen drove in a run during the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly, cutting Washington's lead to just one. He's been heating up at the plate recently, collecting four straight multi-hit games. Through 61 games this season, he's batting .261 with six homers, 29 RBI and a .787 OPS.

McCutchen went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's win over Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Zack Godley made a mistake in location with his sinker in the fourth inning, and McCutchen made him pay by depositing the ball into the left field bleachers at AT&T Park. The 31-year-old has now homered in consecutive games after going 36 games between his previous two long balls. McCutchen's power was expected to take a hit based on the cavernous dimensions of his new home park, and it certainly based on his five homers through 247 plate appearances. What wasn't expected was his drop in batting average (.246), and his .309 BABIP indicates that he isn't necessarily getting unlucky. Fortunately for McCutchen's fantasy owners, the outfielder's batted ball metrics show that he is actually stroking the ball with more authority than he has at any point during his illustrious career (47.8 Hard% in 2018 compared to 37.3 percent career rate), which could lead to increased power numbers as we enter the warmer summer months.

McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's win over the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen had gone 0-for-11 since returning from a minor knee ailment May 22, so Saturday's healthy stat line should ease his owners' thoughts going forward. The 31-year-old is slashing .239/.346/.378 as he continues to try and climb out of his anemic start to the year. He has been able to provide decent counting stats (28 runs and 20 RBI) to help offset the negative value in average.

McCutchen (knee) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rockies, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen suffered a bruised knee on a slide Saturday, and it only makes sense that the Giants would hold him out through Monday's off day. If the knee is still barking come Tuesday, the Giants could opt to DH McCutchen for the two-game set in Houston.

McCutchen sustained a bruised knee on a slide and exited Saturday's win over the Rockies, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen went 3-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored, and was replaced in right field by Gregor Blanco for the start of the eighth inning. The veteran outfielder should be considered day-to-day and could be available for Sunday's series finale, but with an off day on Monday the team could illustrate additional caution with the 31-year-old.
