McCutchen went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and two runs scored Friday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen tacked on some insurance in the eighth inning with a three-run blast to dead center, his third homer of the 2019 campaign. The 32-year-old outfielder is slashing .262/.426/.524 with five extra-base hits and eight RBI through 12 matchups this season.

McCutchen went 1-for-3 with two walks and two runs in Friday's 10-4 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen opened the game with a walk and scored on Jean Segura's double. He later walked in the seventh inning and came around to score on Rhys Hoskins' single. The outfielder's eight runs scored tie him for ninth in the league, as he's clearly enjoying his new park and new lineup.

McCutchen went 1-for-4 with a solo homer, a walk and a pair of runs scored in Thursday's victory over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen couldn't have started his Phillies career any better, launching a leadoff homer off Julio Teheran in the home side's first at-bat of the season. He later walked to lead off the seventh inning and was eventually driven in by Rhys Hoskins' grand slam. Locked into the leadoff spot with quality hitters behind him in a hitter-friendly park, McCutchen could be in line for a late-career renaissance and is a good bet to score plenty of runs.

Manager Gabe Kapler said Wednesday that McCutchen will open the season as the Phillies' leadoff hitter, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kapler cited McCutchen's combination of on-base skills and slugging as the main reasoning behind deploying the outfielder atop the order rather than Cesar Hernandez, who draws walks at a high clip and makes good contact but isn't as much of a power threat. While McCutchen will need to perform well to stick in the top slot on a permanent basis, the Phillies' early commitment to using him in the leadoff role is a major boon to his fantasy value. Assuming health prevails, McCutchen should have a good chance to reach double digits in steals again and surpass the 100-run plateau for just the second time in his career.

McCutchen went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Monday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen batted leadoff and belted his first home run in a Phillies uniform in the fourth inning. He's now 7-for-25 at the dish in spring training and remains on track to open the regular season as Philadelphia's starting left fielder.

McCutchen agreed to a three-year contract with the Phillies on Tuesday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The deal is still pending a physical, and the specific terms remain unknown, but McCutchen will be returning to Philadelphia -- albeit with a different team -- after spending time with the Giants and Yankees in 2018. The veteran outfielder hit a combined .255/.368/.424 with 20 homers and 14 stolen bases across 155 games between San Francisco and New York. He should immediately step into a starting role for the Phillies, hitting in a favorable spot in the order.

McCutchen is not in the lineup for Game 4 of the ALDS against the Red Sox on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
McCutchen will give way to lefty-hitting Brett Gardner in left field for Tuesday's potentially decisive game with right-hander Rick Porcello toeing the rubber for the Red Sox. The veteran outfielder is just 2-for-14 through the first three games of the series. He'll be available off the bench if needed.
