Overall, he is 6-2 with a 5.04 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 48 strikeouts in 64.1 innings this season. Cashner will start again at the Rangers on Thursday.

Cashner was far from his best, but did well considering the thin air at Coors Field. It was the right-hander's first start of the season in which he didn't issue a free pass. Cashner did see his ERA rise to 4.55 with a 1.33 WHIP through 59.1 innings. He'll likely have an easier time when he faces the Giants on Friday at home.

Cashner gave up three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out three through six innings in a no-decision against the Yankees on Monday.

Even though he only registered seven swinging strikes, Cashner delivered his third consecutive quality start. The right-hander has a 4-2 record with a 4.14 ERA and a 43:20 K:BB through 10 starts this season. Cashner will have a tough matchup in his next start Saturday against the Rockies at Coors Field.
